Hey Folks,
That was one of the uglyiest games we have ever had against IU. IU was the cause of some of it. The 7 ' ers didn't help and we couldn't hit crap.
We are gonna have to go with Perry, Thomas and Sims as our front line. Maybe Crawford instead of Perry or Thomas and use the other one for sub. We are way too guard oriented. We have to create some inside offense or we will not even play 500 ball this year. I have to say Perry and Thomas have hands of stone and can't finish crap, They are the result of very poor recruiting. Even the year we signed Morris we also signed 4 gurards instead of some additional inside people. Hopefully we can work Carter in a little at a time to where he can contribute? Tubby needs to look very seriously at finding someone else as his head recruiter. Whoever is doing the recruiting now is doing a very poor job of balancing the personel. The way we played Saturday against IU, we aren't even in to top 100 , hopefully this Saturday will be better. I hate to be so negative, but I don't see a lot of positive happening with this group?????

Yup we do have our priorities straight..UK Basketball being first and foremost...Followed closely by Nascar and if someone should hook up here then so be it..LOL..

I hope that we have no in fighting on the team..We do not need it....I think the guys need to forget about Morris and move on..I think Tubby needs to sit the seven footers and just go small and press and run!!

I do dread this games Saturday..Stupid ass Pitino is already playing his mind games the prick....

I agre on sitting 2 of the 3 seven footers, but have been fairly impressed with Carter so far. He's young so he will make LOTS of mistakes, but he seems to move pretty well and does hustle. With some time on the floor I think he may come around pretty quickly. As for a starting line up what about Rondo, Moss, Bradley, Sims, and Thomas? Since Rondo is our best rebounder having Bradley there to play point would free Rajon to go get the ball. As for the rest, they're just the ones I've noticed playing with the most hustle this year, except Thomas, he's just the ummmm, least unimpressive big man so far.....

You are right about Carter.He can already run the floor better then Shag or Woo...I agree with your starting line up...All of those do good..Ramel Bradely will do good in place of Rondo...Rondo is playing hesitant to me this year for some reason..He is not looking like the All Star player right now....I agree also about Thomas being unimpressive..Turns the ball over more then has it in his hands....I just want us to beat UL this weekend so damn bad!

A very good thing having Morris back... As long as it doesn't cause anymore chemistry problems. I am very sure he is going to be giving his all for the team now to try and make amends, so I'm not worried about his play. Just a bit concerned about a new body in the rotation at mid-season. Maybe time to handle it like a rollercoaster... grab the bar, scream, and enjoy the ups and downs... lol

Yes that was the best news to hear yesterday that Morris is back! I am thinking it won't cause any chemistry problems as they have been practing with him..Now they can have his body down low to hopefully make more then 8 points a game...

Still worried about tomorrow's game!!

OK... y'all have talked me into it. Not going to worry about how the team fits together for now. I am also VERY worried about the game, but with Morris back I think we have an OK shot at taking the SEC outright, so the losses hopefully will only matter for seeding. (OMG, its the middle of December and I just brought up seeding... Only in KY and only from a UK fan.... )

LOL Blue.....Yes only in Kentucky we talk seeding all year round I think! LOL....Lets just hope that the team has jelled together this week and that they will be ready to come out and play!

One thing I hate about the game today..Stupid Billy Packer is calling it..I HATE HATE HATE him..He hates UK with a passion..It will all be about pricktino and the fuctards today! Arrrrrrrrrrrrrgggggggggggggggh..

Maybe not bad shape, I just expected UK to be the one that was blown out and made no real runs to get back in the game. Instead we knocked them around and showed what the team is really capable of. And as an added bonus we didn't give most of the lead back, a bad habit we've had the past couple of years.

Also loved Rick's T... especially since it was on such an obvious call.... I understand why he did it, but isn't it even better that he took that T for the team and the didn't get fired up for him?

I am going to be at the Iona game Friday. If my past attendance at games is any indication, its going to be a closer game than it should be, but we haven't lost yet so we will win it.... Not sre if its just e being there watching or what....

Yes I liked the "T" that Pricktino got too...I thought they T'ed him up twice but of course not....My best friend said the same thing that he did that to fire up his team but HAHAHAHAH back fired in his face!
