I know its not going to be popular here on a UK thread, but I also have to say way to go Tennesse. By killing Texas AT Texas the SEC doesn't look so weak now, and that will also be good for UK by the end of the year.... Also doesn't hurt that their best player comes from which state?

I was hoping we would have went up more too but we are UK but we never get any recognition!

You are right...That was a big win for Tennessee...I just want us to kick their ass so bad because their coach is running his mouth about beating us..

Ah yes... by this time tomorrow we'll all be celebrating the win over Iona... Maybe not an important win, but a win all the same... SOOOOOO looking forward ti seeing the Cats inperson tomorrow...

Have fun at the game tonight Blue...Hope that the Cats play hard..Am afraid we may be let down just a little after the intensity they showed last week....I unfortunately have to listen to the game as it is not on tv til delayed here!

Was at the game, and believe me when I say DON"T PANIC about the score. From what I saw tonight Iona is a very good team (worth keeping an eye on in the Bracketbuster in Feb...). They hustled, they hit shots through defense, they're not exactly who I'd want to see in my 1st or 2nd round games in March. Tha Cats played pretty well, did alot of things right (except for the bad passes...), I just think Iona was a better team than I originally thoght....

Was so good to see Woo play well again last night..Hope that when he goes home today and back that he will continue the good play!

I agree- we were at the game too - and Iona got in our passing lanes and were VERY quick to the ball. They will be a team that could make a difference in the tournament later on. But KY knocks off another UNBEATEN team - lets see how many more we can eliminate! <grin>

Glad to hear that you were able to be at the game too....It is always good to see UK knock of any team, especially an undefeated one.***na was tough..I just read that one time when Rondo got caught in one of the screens he hurt his neck......

I thought this thread was all about meeting people in KY? But for some reason, it has been changed to talking about UK Basketball and their program. Maybe the name of the thread should be changed to " UK hook-Shoots meet here". LOL and maybe it needs to be moved to the General board instead of the personal area. Just my thoughts tho...
