New Year didn't get off to a good start here unfortunately... For Christmas my 5 month old neice gave me her cold... it's the gift that keeps on giving... lol

I actually disagree that we played a horrible game against Ohio. They were shooting 65% coming into the 2nd half and wound up at less than 50% by the end o the game. In the first half everything they shot went in, not much we can do there. (And OK, maybe I am forgetting the first part of the fist half.... ) I'm more impressed with our coming back and extending a lead to 8 than I am worried about that first 10 minutes... I dunno, may just be me though....

And yes Ms. Blue... Another HUGE winner for an AV....

Sorry you are sick Blue..Hope that you get to feeling better soon! Thankfully I am back to 99% here..

I can't block out how we played the first half Friday..Arrgggh..We were getting killed..but like you said they turned it around in the 2nd half but took them 18 minutes to do it!

Wildcard, the Cards played a heck of a game for 35 minutes. The last 4 or 5 minutes was kind of ugly. Cards had a great year. Congrats to them.

That is all I can say about that game. A good team would have kicked them by 30. Them being either UK or Central Fl. Neither of us were worth a damn. Good thing we fattened our record on Patsy's. or else we wouldn't even win 20 this year. We suck. Rondo's shot was one he couldn't repeat 3 out of 10 on. At least that one went in, he he. I am now dreading the SEC we are gonna get our asses handed to us if we don't do some serious improving.

My house was never in any danger from the tornadoes. I live 1/2 way between E'town and Hodgenville. One Tornado hit E'town, and another hit Hodgenville. I was sandwiched safely in between both of them. All I got was a little bit of hard rain, and about 10 seconds worth of hail.

Tornadoes in January, who woulda thunk it?

We were lucky, but I have no problems with getting a little good luck every now and then.

The weather last year was wild and scary and it has begun the new year the same way..

Tenn VS South Alabama

Watches as Tenn beats South Alabama 87 to 69. South Alabama being John Pelphrys team. They are now 9 and 3. Pretty good. Gave UT a pretty good tussel for a while. UT didn't have 10000 people in the stands of a 25000 seat building. Sucks. The women outdraw the men 2 to 2 there.

Ahhhh, can we just skip this weekend please. Did someone say Saturday was cancelled. lol. U of L is down 30 to 25 to Villanova as we speak. About 4 minutes left in the half.
In all fairness to Kansas I don't think they are nearly as strong as they were when Roy was there. They will be, in the future. Self is a good coach. Game is at Kansas so U of K is probably in for another thumping. Just my guess. ugggggg.

Now, down to the serious business, lol. Our Cats do not belong in the top 25 Babe. We are seriously over rated right now. Thankfully Kansas is also having a down year. They are 8 and 4 but on a 5 game winning streak. Tubby is gonna have to find him a combination that plays well together and stick with it. Regardless of who they are.
I am hearing reports that Morris is doing really well in practice. Certainly hope so. We need a lot of help inside. Just afraid he isn't enough?

Nah -- Cats will win by 10 today - - (I am posting this 1 1/2 hours before tip off - so don't come back and hound me if I am wrong!)

I think from now on - they will play to the competition - a team is good - they will play good - just enough to win. Remember back just a few years ago - UK started out bad - and went on to SWEEP the SEC. That just doesn't happen all the time. Morris will be back on Tuesday (I have lower arena seats for that game) and he now knows whats it like to sit out - and he will be hungry to show the state that he's glad we went through sooooo much trouble to keep him.
