In terms of the text that I bolded, I just don't understand that approach to sex. It makes me want to ask him, "Really, that's it? That's a full experience for you? Do you even realize how much better that could have been?" A quickie definitely has its place and can be super hot, but this is just strange to me. Brief and meh. Definitely not a good review. Here's to having better luck with the couple.

It's not a waste if the whole experience was exactly what you wanted. Not everyone sees things the same way - life would be very boring if they did, and I certainly wouldn't have been introduced to a whole lot of interesting experiences. Not all of those experiences have been to my taste, including the random hook up ... but a lot of them have been. It's worth giving things a go sometimes, just to see how you feel about them.

I know Sam is interested in branching out and trying other things So we should be prepared to work through less than perfect results without giving up. *shrug* I think you should be prepared to do whatever works for you. I tend to be a 'you don't know until you try' kind of person (with a healthy dose of 'worst case scenario' preparedness). I probably get hurt more than other people ... but it seems worth the risk to me. That's the key really - we all have our level of risk aversion, and I personally don't fuck with that too much.

It depends on the person involved ... I've had virtual strangers turn up at my door at 2am, but other times there's people I'd be hesitant to meet in a public place, just because they'd know who I am if I did. I just tend to judge character rather than specific situation.

I suspect you and Sam have a similar viewpoint. She is a people person and tends to let her perception of a person determine how she deals with them. I on the other hand am great with a spread sheet but struggle to understand people sometimes. In our sexual exploration, she has assumed the lead which will probably work for the best.

I like your perspective here Kim, very philosophical.. Maybe you get what it is you need or desire from each experience, regardless of whether or not the sex is earth shattering..! From the outside looking in, it appears you like having a younger attractive man desire you, maybe that’s all you need here.. Either way it doesn’t really matter..
