Kim's poly/kink thread reinvented ...

She reminds me of my ex. (That's not a bad thing.)

There's a full performance at Glastonbury on YouTube. I haven't had time to watch the whole thing, but it's on my to-do list. She's a dancer, so the whole thing has a lot of dance in it as well (as do most of her videos).

I may have a little bit of a crush.

So yeah ... I had a date! It really went very well. He arrived early (!) which meant I didn't have as much time to get ready as I was expecting, but that was fine. My little town turned on a ridiculously gorgeous day - we had a long walk along the beach (cliched though that is), and then when we went to buy some fish for dinner there were literally orca in the harbour. (This happens a bit, but is only the second time I've actually seen them in two years.) So we watched them for a while, then went back to my place and I cooked a dinner which was OK ... he ate every bit there was (although I know I can actually cook better than that). We seemed to demolish two bottles of wine over the course of the evening ... made out on the couch in front of the fire for a while, and then bed. Lots of very good sex ... vanilla, but the good vanilla. He has a fair bit of stamina, and likes the fact that I cum a lot.
I did manage to screw my back up - go out of bed at about 4am and the muscles just spasmed. This isn't the first time it's happened, but it's deeply unsexy. Luckily I have the requisite pain killers and yoga stretches on hand. I guess this is why old people don't have boisterous sex? Anyway, I came right, and we managed another morning session before getting up for brunch (having eaten left over tiramisu for breakfast in bed). I was a little hung over but managed to be perky *enough*.
So that was fun. 9/10 - would date again.

Good for you. Always good to hear some good news theses days. Except for the back of course but getting old is not for wimps and it sounds like you were able to tough it out. Of course most guys on here are feeling a bit jealous right now.

Jealous of my bad back?

Naw. I got my own. Though as long as I stretch every day, it is not too bad.

LOL - I did kind of know what you mean ... I'm just deflecting. Me being me, I find it difficult to imagine this would be making anyone jealous.

Perhaps I was deflecting a bit too so I might as well confess. It was the walk on the beach that got me. AZ has a lot of good things but being able to walk along a beach is not one of them. I would even enjoy the beach walk alone but to be accompanied by an interesting woman would up the appeal significantly. Perhaps some hand holding or to steal a kiss. Oh well. Some day. I will just have to live vicariously for today.

I am pretty lucky to be living in such an amazing place. I'll try and post a couple of photos later. And yes, while we were watching the orca frolicking* in the harbour, there may have been kissing.

*Disclaimer - there was no actual 'frolicking - they just came up for air every now and then.

How exciting that your date went so well! Aside from the bad back, it sounds just about perfect. I will admit that I am a bit envious too. :cattail:

It was a pretty amazing convergence of things ... while I managed to get some pretty good wine, and cook a passable meal, I can't really claim responsibility for the gorgeous weather and the marine mammals (although I did give it a go to suggest I'd ordered them in).

Ooooh!

I like the song, too.

Also - win win on the date.

Especially the next morning part. Always good.

I think if you still want to get sexy the next morning, and then ALSO go out for brunch, that's a good date.

Sounds really great, Kim, from the orcas, to the wine, to the sexy times...

Um, you didn't mention whether he lived up to his photo? :D

:)
I really can't believe I have to say this, but if people could resist the urge to use this thread as a leaping off point for sending me moralising judgey PMs, that would be great. I'm a total mess at the moment, and having people going 'tsk tsk' is not really helping. If you have some ethical issue with the concept of polyamory, maybe this thread, or my PMs, isn't the place for you. Lit's big enough for you to find somewhere else to be.

I probably should clarify something about my original post (which I think is in the prior thread but maybe not) ... I never 'demanded' that the BF be non-monogamous, any more than he 'demanded' that I be monogamous. He's a 'naturally' monogamous person; I'm not. That's a very difficult mix in a relationship, and in our case it didn't work out. There were a myriad other factors at play in there, but fundamentally that was the base problem.

nice post
