As do I ...I know that feeling.
Or maybe it's just the difference between a southerner and a Yankee. At my age I probably told it wrong.
Good luck with it all.As do I ...
As far as (good?) news on my treatment, the first step will be this coming Thursday. Step two will be one week later as I start my special diet and get a combined contrast CT scan and MRI in preparation for the actual radiation treatments. Those will most likely start around the 20th of July. Hopefuly I'll survive it all and be back writing before too long.

Is there a difference? We can't tell over here...Or maybe it's just the difference between a southerner and a Yankee.![]()
The difference is in how they like their cornbread ...Is there a difference? We can't tell over here...

Is that something to eat?The difference is in how they like their cornbread ...
Aside from being sweeter than Northern cornbread, the Southern variety can be made with white or yellow cornmeal, has a buttery finish and calls for more eggs, which produces a cakelike texture. Northern cornbread, on the other hand, isn’t very sweet and is made with fewer eggs and yellow cornmeal to achieve a crumbly texture.
What happens when a Yankee puts down stakes in deepest south?Or maybe it's just the difference between a southerner and a Yankee.
They call for a Dutchman to plug the holes? What happens when a Yankee puts down stakes in deepest south?
If it's rather like our North/South kerfuffle, it's rather likeWhat happens when a Yankee puts down stakes in deepest south?
I'm glad you told me. . . .In case you were wondering ...
After my heart surgeries, I was usually cold, no matter what the temperature was. This summer, that seems to have changed back to normal. Of course, it doesn't help that the afternoon sun shines on my living room. Even with the blinds shut, I can feel the heat coming through the windows. Not even close around here. Another three and a half months at least.
My study catches the afternoon sun and it can get warm. When I turn down the A/C, the rest of the house freezes ...After my heart surgeries, I was usually cold, no matter what the temperature was. I haven't turned the AC on yet. Our apartments aren't well insulated so once I start the air, it rarely seems to turn off. And that gets expensive. My study catches the afternoon sun and it can get warm. When I turn down the A/C, the rest of the house freezes ...

So it was a strange day (the 20th). If I hadn't divorced my now ex, we would have been married fifty years. That's a long time.
For maybe five or six years after our divorce, he was still angry that I left. Now, we get along fine. Not as a married couple would, or even like friends, but it works. When I think of fifty years, though, it doesn't seem like I'm old enough for that. Then again, my son will be fifty later this year.Too long, perhaps ?
