My mom and dad (he arrived last night) took the twins this morning, so it gave me time to meet Ben's girlfriend. I like her very much. They came over, he introduced her, than after a few minutes he got a text from his mom that she needed his help. Yeah, it was pretty transparent.

Anyway, his GF and I talked. She said she was interested because like Ben's first sexual experience with me, her first were with guys a lot older than her. But she does not have fond memories and certainly doesn't keep in touch, the way Ben and I do (which is by text now and then, especially when he wants my advice). So, I told her my story.

She then told me more about how she and Ben met last spring, and that she saw it as a recurring hookup/FWB thing until she realized over the summer that she missed him, and then ended up spending the night when the reunited. Like me at that age, she did not spend the night with hookups. Unlike me, she never liked one-and-done so she had different guys for casual hookups. But after spending the night with Ben, she understood this was something different. She said Ben told her about my similar experience, and she said that was another reason she wanted to talk to me. She said it scared her a little because she had always kept emotional distance because of what she went through when younger. I, of course, could relate.

Anyway, it was a nice talk. I think she's good for him, and more so, I think he's really good for her. And when Ben came back from "helping his mom", she hugged me goodbye and whispered one more thing -- a thank you for teaching him how to please a woman. So, I guess some of the pervier guesses were a little right.

By the way, she may be like me in spirit and experience, but that's about it. She's tall, athletic, dark haired, brown eyes... so many things I'm not.

And actually, I may be getting better at picking up that vibe. I sure knew Selina was interested, even though I was with my Hubby when we met. And I knew the wife of the couple on the cruise was not into me, even if she was really into other women, but it had been agreed before hand and her husband was into it.

Now with guys, I can almost always tell. Like I knew right away A.C. was into me. His friend was not, but he wasn't going to turn down double teaming me when the chance came up. I mean, guys are guys, you know.

Speaking of Misty (which we were earlier), I invited her to Thanksgiving dinner since she would have been alone. Beth, her roommate (and my boss and someday business partner) is out of town visiting family, and Misty is not really seeing anyone at this point. But she decided to work Thanksgiving evening. She's done it before, and said it's most likely going to be a few sad and lonely guys who have nowhere else to be. I encouraged her to skip it and come to dinner, but she seemed to think my mom would not appreciate her presence. She actually seemed pretty down about it. I'm hoping she decides to come to dinner instead of working. I told her I will keep my mom in line.

Well, I pulled Thanksgiving off flawlessly ... because it was a group effort.

My mom helped a lot with the sides, and Hubby smoked the turkey in his fancy smoker he bought last spring. It came out fantastic.

Misty did not come over. She may or may not have hooked up with somebody on Thanksgiving. She let something drop but then would not talk about it. That probably means it was a guy. For whatever reason, she's sometimes reluctant to talk to me about guys she hooks up with, especially if it was at the club. I mean, it's also super rare, but it's happened. Anyway, she said she worked late on Thanksgiving, so I'm guessing it was someone she met at the club. She'll probably tell me when she's ready.

In other news, Hubby had been given an opportunity to use his share from the big case they just settled and his year end profit sharing bonus as part of the buy in for a partnership stake. He would have to also contribute half of his partner quarterly profit share until his stake is paid off. That would take about a year or so, given how well the firm is doing right now. He would get to pick his own cases and still manage the pro bone and community outreach programs.

I had my heart set on a cabin, and maybe a boob job when I'm done nursing. This would put all that on hold for a year to year and a half, unless my real estate career takes off really quickly. I am scheduled to take my license exam in January.

Actually, I could still swing the boob job, if I decide to do it. I recently visited with a plastic surgeon who was highly recommended to me. She said we would need to evaluate and discuss options when I'm done nursing. She also showed me some before and after pics of women who have had gummy bear style implants (like Misty's) after finishing nursing. The ones who opted to increase back to their maximum size while nursing (instead of going bigger than that) look pretty fucking natural. It's under the muscle surgery, so a bit more involved than over the muscle (like Misty has) but also helps with natural look and feel and action. The only caveat she mentioned there is that my chest muscles are pretty defined from my weight training and that could impact how the implants would react when I am weight training. But she thought at my current level they would be okay if I didn't go too big. And I don't plan to go too big. If I do it at all.

He is excited. And in the long run, it's going to be really good for us. But I'm gonna pout just a little about the cabin. We were going to start looking in earnest in the spring. Oh well. Like is said, I'm just going to have to really get the hang of this real estate stuff quickly.

And no congratulations for me yet.on passing the exam. I don't want to jinx it.

I've already postponed it once because I started getting really anxious. I was supposed to take it in December but rescheduled when I got back from the cruise. And I know I'm ready, but the anxiety kicked in because I had so much to do, so I cancelled in a panic a few days ago. But once I had, I regretted it, but January was the soonest I could reschedule.

I was on Zillow last night after Hubby fell asleep. There was a time it would have been Lit, either the forums or stories, when I couldn't get to sleep. But these days, Zillow, Pinterest, and TikTok are more and more frequent.

On a different topic, I am extremely envious of those of you who have snow. It looks like none is forecast here in the next two weeks.

There is snow in the mountains, but almost none yet at the cabin we will be renting for our anniversary, which is a little less than two weeks away. There is a chance there will be more snow in the mountains before then, but it's not looking that good.
