It’s a simple thread , designed for those new people that haven’t started a conversation yet or found that thread they felt comfortable in doing so. Post a “What are you nosey about” , it could be about anything and everything. Newbie related or not. The idea being newbies meet regular posters aka daily , newbies meet other newbies , lurkers welcome , nice to see you make a post…..that sorta vibe.

Of course anyone and everyone is welcome to participate. There isn’t any order to answer or ask a question. There’s isn’t a bad what are you nosey about post. Sex , site functions , different threads and sections of the site. That sorta stuff is encouraged.

At best if this thread could become a newbies oasis that would be awesome.

Have fun

I’m nosey what motives a newbie to create a account and get posting privileges. One can view the forums without having a account , so a 👀 lurker can be a peeping Tom or Tammy that way.

I do know you can't view attachments without having an account and being logged into Lit, so that might be a motivator for some. Especially if they want to check out the images in Ampics, as many of them are attachments.

Some also do it so they can send PMs. I've gotten a handful from users (men) with zero posts looking for cybersex. They get deleted without response.

Was it a specific thread that motivated you , a certain regular poster you wanted to get to know , what ?

I've been lurking for a while and on the story side of Lit much longer. I think I joined because I wanted to interact with an interesting group of people. I'm a little unsure at the moment but I am working on getting past that.

Does this stop? Holy smokes, I got 5 PMs before I even posted. I don't really want to turn them off, but that's not exactly my style. I sort of would like to know something about you before we go off and get all hot and bothered.

If you haven't already, go to your CP settings and choose "invisible mode'. as one of your settings/options. It cuts down on random PMs a lot (especially if you have a feminine-sounding handle). You can always turn it back on temporarily if you're in the mood to let people know you are logged in at a certain moment on time. Good luck!

Thanks! Someone also PM'd me this advice. Pro-tips appreciated.

Welcome, I hope you enjoy yourself.

Not completely, no, if you leave your PMs on. There are a lot of male incels on Lit, and their little heads have superseded their big head when it comes to thinking. I've made my signature scream "NOT INTERESTED" as loud as I can but I still get losers sniffing around for sex. That's just the way it is on Lit. And I'm sure people (i.e. women) have been driven away from here because of the out-of-control men on here.

One thing you can do is block individual users by placing them on ignore. They'll still see you but they won't be able to PM you. The ignore list is a wonderful thing I must say :)

Now to be fair, there are a lot of wonderful men on Lit. Most men won't give you a problem to be honest. But (with emphasis) there's a subgroup on men who only come here to look for women to take advantage of and to get off. Those are the ones you want to be on the lookout for and the first to block when you discover them. No mercy, no quarter, I say.

And with that I wish you luck!

Thank you! I've been on here forever & still didn't know this LOL

Now I’m nosey about how to see your oldest posts… I thought I saw someone say it’s possible, but didn’t say how. Is there a way to see more than the last 200 or so?

I hope newbies don't have to go through what was happening over a decade ago when I was under my old profile. Back then the thinking was that joining an adult site was scary af, so the GB, the General Board, seemed the safest place to start. Newbies would end up in a fetal position or leave for good. It was pretty brutal back then.

This is widely over exaggerated.

Anyone question , Do you consider e-boning straying?

Oh come now....you know the answer to this. Depends on the relationship. And the people involved.

To me...all it is is a cheap one-night stand...and anyone I care about deeply enough to want to make love to, deserves more if that is all we can do. People get stuck on symantics...trying to give a name to something that has different motivations. To each their own.

OMG, I started on the GB 😬

You've got to really know how to regulate through some of that bullshit...

I had been lurking for a while in the fetish and sexuality section and I decided to make an account to post about something also bc I wanted to see some of the attachments on that section.
I probably would've made an account faster had I seen the amateur section 😂

I’m curious if you where given a scratch off lotto ticket as a gift and won more then one thousand dollars with it. Would you share or at the least “ tip “ the person that gave you it as a gesture of their friendship for giving it to U in. The first place.

Everyone and anyone is welcome to join in not just newbies
That depends...is she good looking?
