Literotica Forum Update: Share Your Feedback, Issues & Requests

Thank you all for the ongoing feedback. :D

After discussions here and with several authors, we have hidden the share button on the Am Pics forum. We've also removed several of the sites from the share widget. We're leaving Twitter and Reddit as those are sites where many members of the Literotica community are active, and those users need a way to easily share links to their posts.

Balancing the needs of Literotica members who are active on social media (more and more Literotica authors are active on Twitter and Reddit) and members who don't want to share anything is a challenge, but we'll keep working on it. As mentioned by several other members, anything posted on public forums can be seen by anyone who registers for the site, so please keep that in mind before posting.

We're also considering our future plans on followers. Our long term goal is to bring the main site followers and the forum followers (and ignored/blocked users) into sync. Most Lit users want to be able to see both their followers and following lists, but we understand that may be a change from the way that the old vBulletin worked.

It literally says in the rules of the site that you cannot have such a photo as your avatar. I’m sorry that you don’t understand what rules are, but I’m also grossed out that you don’t understand that the cockatar is almost universally a turn off. Gross.

I had some special messages saved from various ones including a few that were taken out and brushed off every so often. Dammit.

When I click on the envelope I get a list box with several options, I clicked on Show All and there they were, all my PMs.

I'm not sure I see a reason to do that since they seem totally disparate. Many readers and probably authors on the story side don't use (or many not even know about) the forum side and vice versa. Those that follow an Author's stories may not know or care about their forum posts, and may authors may not want readers following them over here where they often criticize and complain about readers. Others may have 'retired' from writing and only post here now and don't want readers pestering them to return.

Also, I never found a way for an author to eject a follower.

I was aiming for a multi-quote to get Trust Me I’m a Doctor and Orchidea:

The original reply =/= not a dumbass. PM Laurel to have your account deleted; it’s always been the only way. I don’t see any other updates regarding that.

If you want to change the look of the forum, there is a style chooser in the footer. The two available styles are Classic Literotica and Modern Literotica. The Modern Literotica style will eventually be getting a dark mode to go along with the full Literotica site dark mode that we've already been working on.

I'm not seeing where moderators are listed for each forum. This seems pretty important for the times people need to reach out to someone for help. Am I just missing it?

That was always disabled in this Tech Support forum for some reason that I never understood.

You should see an Edit button/link in all other forum sections.

Yep, so it looks like I am able to edit my posts everywhere except the GB. Anyone else who posts in the GB having this issue? Thanks! :)

I got me a Edit on the GeeBere and a bonus "Delete" button beside it which I ain't got here.
