another positive is we now have the option to edit our thread titles, whereas before you had to do it within minutes or you weren't able to

I'm not sure I understand what you're gonna try to do, to be honest.. but I have logged off here and then logged back on at a later time and nothing has changed. I think it's on their end, not ours.

I don’t think it’s a cache issue. The same thing is happening to me, JJ - my pic reverts back and won’t accept a new one. I’ve tried clearing my cache and different devices with the same results.

I just uploaded mine again and it's showing up on my profile, but not anywhere else. But I'm expecting it to change back to the old one anytime now, because that's what seems to happen every time.

This might sound silly but have you tried doing a hard reboot on your laptop or tablet? IDKW but whenever nothing else has worked on the laptop or uploading glitches I've had pretty good success with this.

was just wondering if changing the settings to no av, then logging out, back in later a few times, it might 'lose' the older av and accept the introduction of a new one. right now, for me, it's unimportant though.

If you mean shutting it off and then starting it up again.. well I shut it off last night and when I turned it back on this morning and came here, nothing has changed. If you mean something else, well... I have no clue as to wtf you're talking about.

I'm waiting for mine to revert back to the old one, too. I gave up trying to come on here with my phone. It's horrible. I've been coming on here with my laptop which is okay, but I need to come on here with my tablet because that's what I use the most. I hope it looks and works okay with that.

I've had relatively few issues with my tablet and most have resolved over the past 48 hours. It's just so frustrating to have to hunt down everything that used to be second nature.

You push down on the power off button and hold it until the device turns off, bypassing shutdown procedures. Then continue holding the power button down for at least 15 seconds after it has turned off. Then power back up or go take a break and come back to it later. Old school brutality... but sometimes it does the trick

You guys are talking about things that are over my head. I'd be afraid of breaking my computer, so I'll pass, thank you.

I'm pretty sure the problem lies on Lit's end as I've seen quite a few people complain about the AV issue, so I'll just wait for them to fix it. Just hurry up and fix it already, please!

Okay, so now I know for sure the AV problem is on Lit's end. I uploaded another, older AV that I have used in the past yesterday and now THAT ONE is showing up when I hit the AV edit button on my profile page. So literally, Lit is showing 3 of the AVs I uploaded yesterday... one on my profile page, another one on the forum and the 3rd one when I click the AV edit button. So yeah, this is definitely fucked up on their end.

I was just wondering. The first time you mentioned trying to upload a new AV and it showed up in your profile I looked and could see it. This time it wasn't visable.

I use my iPhone for everything Literotica connected except submitting stories. This new format for the forums is, at the moment, a nightmare but presumably everything will become clearer in the next few weeks/months.

Click the envelope icon, then to see more than just today's, click on Show All at the bottom left

This might be a dumb question, but did the paperclip icon on the thread list that lets you see all attachments for a thread go away?

I think the avatar issue (on my end) might be partially resolved. I say partially because out of the three browsers I use on Android (version 11), this is what happens.

• Opera Mini (v.56.0.2254) — It seems to be displaying correctly now, on the profile, on the thumbnail at the top of the page when logged in, and over the threads created by me / threads that I watch.
• Via Browser (v.4.3.5) — When uploading new avatar, new one only shows in profile page. All other places where avatar is displayed show the old one.
• Vivaldi Browser (v.5.1.2567) — Same issue as with Via.

So far, I have no further issues to speak of.

I don’t like that quoting seems to be permanent unless I manually delete the quoted message. I accidentally hit the reply, which adds the quote and had to backspace to get rid of it. Before, I could highlight the message and delete it, now I can’t select it.

Also this new code and format seems to remember everything, even when I log out. I logged in just now and the reply I started here, but never finished, is still here. Shouldn’t logging out clear replies so I can start over?

I failed at the multi-quote, lol.

Multi-quotes were and are easy now. In the old forums you had the "+ button to add a quote and/or the quote button which added on that quote. For multi-quote you pressed the "+ button for each except the last quote where you pressed the quote button which placed all the quotes in a reply post. Old system had a five quote limit.

Here, in the new forums, you just press the +Quote button on each post you want to quote. Then go to the bottom of the page and click the Add Quote button. Haven't tried to see how many quotes you can fit in a reply on this system.

Oh, yeah, I totally agree with this! And couple that with the fact that I can only see part of the message I’m composing on my phone screen, I have posted a couple embarrassingly odd messages because of text I mistakenly assumed had been deleted.
