However, since I'm not writing, I might as well brag, right?

It makes me feel really good that my excerpt Zoe has a 4.65 and it's basicly a first draft with a hastily run spell check. I think I was 'in the zone' when I wrote that, you know?

Well, I feel proud

But so far behind on nano....

I have no discipline...

20 something... I'm finding myself coming up with scenes that weren't supposed to be in the plot in the first place, but now that I've thought of them, they just HAVE TO be in the story.

Years 1 and 2 are done. Biwa has started her 3:rd and final year at the Performance Academy. Unfortunately, Kiyaru has moved out of their room after a little incident right before the end of the 2:nd year, and instead, Biwas has a new room-mate, a nosey, babbling squirrel-boy; Tiyo Nusabi. He never stops talking, and he asks tons of questions - especially at inappropriate times! He's fun to have in the story. I just have to check my time-line again, to decide when to kick out one of the other main characters - a real pity, I've grown to like her a lot, but it's vital to the plot that she disappears. I just need to fit in the timing juuuuuuuuuust right.

Seeing as the story's coming to an end soon, I might have to spend the last few days of NaNo adding scenery descriptions to the story, to fill it up to a total of 50.000 words.

Ok, I'm stuck.

This last week I haven't been able to write, due to too much work. And now...well...I just don't feel like it. Writing is all of a sudden no fun. I made seven separate attempts to sit doen and type another chapter in the last two hours, and exactly nothing came out. But I need at least 2500 words before midnight (9 pm now), or the muck will pile up on me in ways I cannot control.

Bwaaah.

Cheap trick, I know, but hey if it works, who cares.

Liar love. Just take a deeeeep breath and chill. You'll not get anywhere very fast if you sit down and try and force yourself to write. You'll only end up in a bigger panic. Write what you can. even if it's just a line and keep thinking that every word is a contribution to your word count. you might get up to as many as you'd like today but just try and keep a little forward momentum going. a couple of hundred is better than nowt at all

Now when I snap my fingers, you will wake up and write the rest of your Nano novel with gusto...
