GRATS Lou, BT, and everybody. Looks like I'm going to be the last one in today with 250 to go.

Woohoo! And you said you weren't gonna do it. Tsk!

I'll congratulate you now, as I'm nearly dead.

G'night!

Lou :rose:

*HUGS*

I broke 70 thousand last night and there's a chance I may finish tonight. A slim chance; I may overlap official calendar NaNo by a few hours. But to have an actual completed entire manuscript this fast boggles my mind. I tell you, I am glad I'm going on vacation next week. I need the rest!

Very angry people will be yelling not very nice things at me, but it was fucking worth it.

I'm Bob the Satanic Flower.

EDITED TO ADD: Final total count: 50200

Congrats to everyone!

I hate that I didn't make it, but it's okay, I learned some discipline, and wrote far more than I would have if I hadn't participated. I'm still planning on finishing, hopefully within the next month.

I should have known better to attempt it this year, I suppose. But, that said, I'll be here next year with all of you, and I WILL finish, simply because I know the situation won't be anything like it is now, and I'll have onsite whip-wielding and cheerleading going on.

Congratulations to you all! You're my heros.

Yay!!!!!!!! Well done boss Lou:rose: :nana: I knew you'd crack it.

Nice one LC:) Go get shouted at but who cares:D :nana:

Cloudy sweetheart, you did good, damn good to get as far as you did, and to even attempt it, you'll make us all look daft next year:) You deserve a nana for effort and the courage to try:nana: :rose:

Huray for Lucifer and Lou!

Svenska, where are you?

Cloudy, you rock no matter what.

:D

Congratulations to all you great NaNo-ers.

No matter whether you completed or not it's having the courage to attempt the feat that is important.

To those of you who completed, my heart felt congratulations, it should serve to convince you that you have a novel within you. To the rest, as far as I am concerned you are all winners, if not today then tomorrow.

My special THANKS to Lou for introducing so many to NaNo and encouraging (beating) others to join with her.

Neon.

Currently closing on 60k and 155 for the novel, only two more chapters to go - then starts the big re-write.

Almost...there...I can almost reach it... I can feel it against my fingertips... Just ONE more scene..!

well done Neon!

And Svenskaflicka...I know you're going to make it...keep on writing!

Where did I put that CD...

Yes girl as the lovely Tulip says, never mind looking for the bloody CD... do it... write it, you are so close you could touch it with an outstretched fingertip... My Gosh you are so close someone making the coffee and passing the biscuits round in your story would take you over the finishing line.:D :rose:

Yep, just a few mores hours to go now.

GO SVENSKA!!!! YOU WILL BE A WINNER!

Well, you are already, but there's nothing like it being official with the certificate and so on. :)

Anyone else still out there writing away: go for it, you CAN do it!

Lou :rose:

*pant, pant*

OK, the story's finished, but it's still only 48.832, so I'll throw in a scene somewhere in the middle where Biwa and Kiyaru are watching a movie, and Biwa starts to cry. I'll probably edit it out later, but I need 1.168 more words!

<nodding>
<standing and gently applauding the group>

Yeah, what she said. <g>

I have to admit, I've been feeling down with myself for sort of letting RL roll me over and fold me under...but truth is, I *did* write 7K worth of material for a future book as well as having my creative juices kickstarted enough to produce a fair handful of new poems and finish a story I'd had idling for weeks (which still needs an editor, must get on that <making note to self>)...so I don't feel so bad...

'Sides, when I feel the elation seeping in from all of you who made it, feeling bad seems ridiculous anyways...

Yay for everyone!!! <laughing>

and Real Life just better get out of my way next year, I tell you...<BG>

nearly there svenskaflicka..ooooh it's so exciting :)

Remec *hugs and kisses* you did what you could love so well done you! you can't help how real life treats you sometimes :)

Right Remec, listen to EL. :D

Anybody else still plodding on, except Svenska?

Keep going!!!

Remec, you did good, bud!

The most important thing for anyone to get from NaNoWriMo is a sense of personal acheivement. If you got that, you're a winner, and you did, so you are! :D
