Well * me kitten, I was counting up what I've written this month in total (my main novel, my false started nihilist novel that I'd love to finish after majorly reworking the beginning, and a short two-act play for a school theatre troupe) and it added to 46,748.

I'm going to burn some midnight oil (fuck consciousness tomorrow. They're already stealing my time and soul) and see if I can finish the last 3,000 + tonight.

I've given in already. The next scene just didn't come. I'm not tossing the story, in fact, I think I'll likely finish this one... some day...

But as for the contest, I never got over the 20,000 mark.

Prepare yourself for a VERY descriptive final chapter! I'll have to resort to describing how Biwa ties her shoelaces, how she puts on make-up, how every fucking house looks like on Kiyaru's way back to campus...
