Only 18 days to go!

Only 18 more days until my LDR and I meet in person for the first time! It is interesting that we connected online through just our words before any of the senses were involved. Now we have sight and sound. All of which makes our phone sex better and better every time. Just imagining what it will be like to add touch, smell and taste gets me excited. I wrote this poem about our connection:

Connected

You know the way it is
When you first see someone
To whom you are attracted
From that moment whenever you see the "one"
You always seems distracted
A visual, physical connection
Focused on just one of the senses
We connected in a very different way
All because of technological invention
A direct line
Into our souls and mind
Before the senses were activated
Our words became the motivation
And now we have seen

To touch, smell and taste

Well............

The troubled road is gone... we are not travelling over bumpy ground anymore... the plane ticket has been cancelled. My countdown has stopped, i'm not sure we have a future.... her mother has chipped away at her and when push came to shove, her family won out... understandable... but then again, mabe not...

Our conversations are now short... friendly at best... long way down from loving... and if i don't call... we don't talk. I guess it is time to say... it is over. I thought we really had something, something worth giving a go... at least meeting was an option, it seems not...

I will keep reading the posts, helping where i can... i just won't be saying anymore about Heather and I.
