This entire episode hit me hard. Once the scam was revealed, and it has been revealed, I felt genuinely sick. Thanks for a few of you exchanging PMs and talking this out. Brie and I had quite a few conversations, mostly about art. She claimed to have had relatives in Charlotte.
This was cruel and heartless, and I'm still numb. We've been played by her kindness, which makes it even more sinister. I hope this dickbag gets what he deserves. I hope he has an aneurysm.

This is fake as fuck. And it is pretty obvious when you look at it from the outside.

I have been on many message boards over the years. (On every subject imaginable) And when someone dies 1 of 2 things happen. They disappear and everyone wonders where they went and never finds out. Or the person knew people in real life who came on and let everyone know they had passed away

This "spouse came on to wish everyone well" thing? Come on. It doesn't pass the smell test. It is absurd.

I have also seen people who were living an online lie who felt guilty about it. They wanted to quit but they didn't want to admit the lie nor did they want to walk away cold and leave everyone thinking they got ghosted. So they come up with this elaborate fake death and then a mysterious new person with account access gets to give heartfelt goodbyes to everyone. The poster then gets to be out of the situation without the guilt of leaving anyone wondering why he stopped sending messages.

I have this this exact thing happen on Facebook. Exactly the above scenario. And it matches what I have read about this scenario based on this thread and this thread alone ( Not the actual Brianna posts which I have never seen)

So there is 2 cents from a totally nuetral party with no connection to this person so I am not trying to convince myself of anything either way.

If I got some of the details that make me suspicious wrong...my bad. Different details might change my mind. But as I understand the details... fake as fuck.

From the obviously fake/stolen photos - using others photos is an awful thing to do to people including those to whom the photos belong - to people taking screen shots of posted photos. It’s largely irresponsible to post your face, even briefly, and this confirms it. Unless everyone important in your life knows you’re on lit and doesn’t care, it just seems like a bad idea and this proves it. People have screen shots of your photos.

To those saving screen shots of people’s pictures - don’t do that. It’s gross.

I am troubled by this too. I have shared a pic or two in the show your face thread for a few minutes and I stopped a couple of months back when I realized ppl save pics.

Now I'm not all that interesting that I think anyone would want or think of savings my pics but if they did that's creepy AF.
