I can say with firsthand experience that there have been men have done far worse here and many say good words in their favor. One of them was already mentioned in this thread, actually.

From what I've seen that hasn't been the case. But you've been here longer than me and seen more, given your duties as a moderator also.

I think both can be true here. I'm sure many men have done very bad things that some let slide, but I'm also curious to know what these things are. Bri befriended people, faked severe injury and then death, then created an alt as a fake husband to announce said fake death. As far as message board faux pas go, this is up there.

But I think it's very likely Bri is a man, so there's also that.

I actually haven't seen a fake death before this. I've heard that Lance did this but I wasn't here when it happened. The cases I've seen with men were the usual; ghosting or playing to many women at the same time. As far as shitty things to do here, fake death is on top, in my book.

Yes, Bri could've been a man. Although I don't know about very likely. But we knew and perceived her as a woman. So, I'll stick with that unless I know for sure.

Right. An alt no one really knows. No one knows of their motives, history, or anything except that there is reasons to hide and one of them is Bri. How is that okay and what Bri did or anyone else that did an alt not okay?

I only clarified that AHTQ said that she was an old user. That's it.

But if you want my opinion on the "Alt" subject, here it is.

I don't know if anyone knows who's behind that nickname. Personally, I have no problems with anyone returning with a different nickname and not revealing in public who they used to be. There are legitimate reasons for taking that path. If they contact someone in private, then it's a different story.
