You are so right. I was prepared for what ever that cath showed, and I managed to keep it together around Mom and Dad, but the minute I was back in my car, ready to come home, I had myself a good cry. Daddy has been through so much, and has been a trooper through it all. As I tell him, he's a tough ol fart. My greatest hope is that this surgery will make a new man of him and that he will be around for many more years.
It's always great when a doctor gives you a diagnosis that includes a problem they can fix. Life is good then.
Compare that to some mechanics, who give diagnoses that don't need fixing. (Some mechanics even leave air hoses attached to your Chevy when you drive off ... imagine that!)
I'll keep praying for you and your family. I hope you are getting enough rest. Good luck with the surgery.
