Well...THAT makes me smile! I'm glad you're having a great day, Darlin. And I'm thinkin someone else is too. ;)

I'm having a good day too...but I'm thinkin it's a different kind of good from yours.

:rose::kiss:

We've got the rain n clouds here today. Makes it tough too...I'd rather be laying on the couch watching something good on TV. But...I'm being a good girl and getting stuff done. Both bathrooms are spotless and the kitchen's next!

I hope you're out now enjoying your day, MrBent! :rose::kiss:

Well no,... No fun yet.... I just got done working on and repairing a shorting electrical sensor harness on one car then did 3 oil changes. For good measure after that I moved furniture to clean house and now I'm starting laundry... To be honest today was not fun so far but I gotta work if I wanna play and I will be going fishing tomorrow no matter what the weather does... I'll just adjust tactics to the conditions...:cool:

BTW WOW nice AV Ms Lynn! Thats what a shower should be like!!!:D

Good Mornin', Friends! :rose::kiss:

What a weekend! I'd like to ask Y'all a favor. My Dad was back in the ER Saturday evening with chest pains. They done an x-ray of his chest and a couple EKG's, but nothing showed on those tests. They kept him overnight so they could keep an eye on him, and after talking with the heart specialist yesterday, it was determined that he had a heart attack. He is still in the hospital and they will do a cartiac cath today to see how much damage there is and what course of action to take.

If Y'all could keep him (and Mom) in your prayers, I would greatly appreciate it.

:rose::kiss::heart:

I will definitely do so. I hope you and your mom are doing OK; knowing you, this has to be about as hard a piece of news to receive as possible, but at least he survived it, and perhaps has a warning on any changes that have to be made to get him to live a healthier, longer life.

A big hug for you lynnette, and wishes for more good news in the near future.

Good Tuesday Mornin', Y'all. :rose::kiss:

Daddy had the cardiac cath yesterday and they found a substantial amount of blockage in 3 of the main arteries. So he will have triple bypass surgery later in the week. The doctors sound very optimistic about the surgery and I'm trying to be the same. One doctor said he was a tough soldier and indeed he is. This was his 2nd heart attack, his 1st was in '94. He's also a prostate cancer survivor. If there is such a thing, this 2nd heart attack is a blessing, in that we were able to find out about these blockages. From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU ALL for your thoughts and prayers. Please keep them coming.

On a happier note, and an embarassing one. Sunday, I dropped my cell in the commode. :eek: Thankfully it was a clean comode. I dried it off as good as I could, and it still worked for a while. It eventually died tho. I had forgotten about buying insurance on it, but the Verizon tech reminded me of the fact and gave me the contact information to file a claim. They're telling me I should have my replacement by tomorrow. The deductable was MUCH less than the cost to buy a new phone. FINALLY some good news!

You are so right. I was prepared for what ever that cath showed, and I managed to keep it together around Mom and Dad, but the minute I was back in my car, ready to come home, I had myself a good cry. Daddy has been through so much, and has been a trooper through it all. As I tell him, he's a tough ol fart. My greatest hope is that this surgery will make a new man of him and that he will be around for many more years.
