Lynn's Place...

Just a note to everyone that checks in on Louise....

surgery went well, they only had to do a double and her father was resting well...in CCU, but still resting well. The doctor, she says, seems quite pleased with the results.

She has taken her cute little bottom and gone to bed...she's had a long day.

she asked me to let you all know, and I have.

*I tried to blanket that girl in good thoughts, love and prayer today...I hope she is resting well, and up tomorrow ready to shine*

Glad to hear it! I'll gonna continue to keep her and her family in my prayers. :rose::kiss::)

Hi Lynn and Freinds
That is good news to hear
I will continue my prayers for you and your father

Smiles and Hugs for all that want or need some

Good morning, Lynn, and the patrons!

Lynn, I am continuing to send you and your family prayers, and you are in my thoughts. Well wishes are attached for your father's continued improvement, with strength for you all from above.

To all Lynn's friends, I hope you are having a great day, and a wonderful weekend!

Good Afternoon, Lynn et al!

Just checking in to see how you and yours are doing...happy to see your father's health is improving...:D

Hope you have a great week, sweetheart...:rose:

*Peeks in to see what's shakin... Seems kinda quiet in here!*

Hello all I hope everyone had a good weekend! :D

Ms. Lynn I hope you were able to get some good rest over the weekend!:rose:
(((((Hugs for you and your mom)))))

I hope everyone is doing well and that the weekend was a good one for each of you.

Daddy is doing great. So great in fact, that he may get to go home tomorrow. I am AMAZED that less that 24 hours after his chest was cut open and his heart was stopped, that he was up walking and eating solid food. I've accused the surgeon of giving him an extra dose of feisty too....which he did NOT need! He keeps talkin about 'breaking out of the big house.' :D

Mr HD and I visited Urgent Care ourselves last Thursday and were diagnosed with a good case of 'the crud.' Hell of a time for that to hit, but we're both feelin A LOT better and if I could get rid of the bee's buzzin in my ears, I'd be 100%.

A big ol hug n kiss to each of you for your thoughts, prayers and concerns about my Dad. I know without a doubt that they have helped him, Mom and myself to get through this last week.

Glad your dad is doing so much better!!! Don’t be too harsh about your dad being ornery. He’ll mellow again once he can take a real good deep breath without chest pain from those ribs! ;)
Also glad to hear that you and your hubby are on the mend too... :)
Get plenty of rest and be real careful not to pass that bug to your dad! It would be hell being sick in his condition. Even the sniffles would be painful with ribs still healing like his are!

Lynnie!! Glad to hear he is doing better. And glad that you have gotten over the 'crud'.

Just remember to always take care of yourself too. ;) :rose::kiss:

Lynn, sending happy thoughts and good vibes your way has helped, and I hope it continues to do so. Your dad will get even more feisty, so be prepared!

:rose::kiss::rose:

That is wonderful news about your dad. Unlike you, however, I think the extra dose of feistiness is probably something that is helping him mend more rapidly. Feisty people don't want to give up, and that would be the worst possible response to this. (So I've been thanking the Lord for the good sense his doctor had in giving him that one extra injection. Go ahead and blame me.)

As for the crud, unless it's the creeping strain, I am sure you'll be right as rain as soon as possible. (Unless those are Africanized bees, who tend to be territorial of their home. Then you might be in trouble. Are those bees buzzing in Spanish, Italian, or Xhosa?)

And just so you don't stay on too high a high, I will remind you #88 is currently #11 in the standings.

Hello Lynn!

Happy to see your father is doing well and has gotten his pep and fight back. Now if we could only get you up and running...hope you get well soon...:rose:

Great news. Get yourself some rest so you can battle the feisties. :rose:

I am VERY happy to tell Y'all that Daddy is now recovering at home. I'm glad they released him today cause the way he was talking about 'breaking out of the big white house,' I was afraid he would indeed try it! There is a tough road of recovery ahead of him, but he is a fighter! Daddy turns 76 the 13th of next month, and I'm hoping he will be up for some sort of celebration. Again, thank you all from the bottom of my heart for all your prayers. They were indeed heard!

Now....tell me what y'all have been up to! I've got the Bristol races coming up this weekend and actually have access to one of the condo's for the weekend. Unfortunately they are outside the track, but they're close, so the hike to the track won't be bad at all. The weather forecast is looking good as well. To say I'm looking forward to 'cutting loose' is an understatement.

I am very happy for you and your mom, and I hope your Dad's tune up will give him added spark and feistiness over the next few years. (No one wants a feisty 120 year old though. You get into your 90's, you really want your Dad to slow down a bit.)

What happened to the bees? Are you completely recovered?

I've been curious for a couple of days, so I will just ask ... what are you going to use one of the condos for?

(Of course, this question assumes Jr doesn't really have a lot of free time this week.)

I take it if you are hiking, your foot eventually completely healed up properly. Yes?

The Mayor's bday is today

I got a job I actually wanted today

The idiot chiropractor called to ask me to come back in to him too...soo nice to not have to call that asshat back.

and tomorrow is gabfest day with my Louise.

Hey Louise...can we talk while you re NASCARing...or are you concentrating on how the seats vibrate when that happens ??? I wanna know.

The bees....some have flown off to greener pastures, some are still hanging on. I'm hoping the volume of noise at the races send the rest of them packin!

LMAO! Thankfully no red socks were needed...but I was worried there for a while.

How are you Sweetie and how's your foot?

1ST thing on the 'To Do' list for the weekend is NO FALLING!!!!!

;)

Nor....no more of that wondering for days....just ask!

The perk of having access to a condo is that they're right across the street from the track. AND with the code to the gate, parking there is a luxury. We usually park in a spot that's a little over a mile from the track. And the hike/walk to the track is on uneven pavement, gravel, and with all the rain we've gotten lately, muddy fields. Sadly, we're not gonna take advantage of the condo access for Sunday's race. Getting out of there will be a nightmare. The place we will park at Sunday allows us fast access to the back roads we take going to and from the track.

:rose:

Hi all! Get your green on!!!

HAPPY ST PATTY'S DAY
