I personally do not get why circumcision is so popular in America. Can any Americans explain this to me? I mean, having lived near Israel, I can understand that. They're mostly Jewish, and that's their faith. I respect that. But this Lebanese man can not grasp the logic for anyone who isn't Jewish to have a bris.

Well, from a hygiene standpoint, it's easier to keep a circumcised penis properly cleaned, with the fewer nooks and crannies for stuff to hide in for extended periods of time. Not to say that it's that hard for someone to make it a point to pull back the foreskin and wash up down there, but that's one more step someone who is circumcised would have to do.

Other than that, *shrug*. Tradition?

Chrissy, recently I began the works of a chapter two on a tale I've neglected for far too long. I went back and skimmed through chapter one and then noticed the keywords I used within my own tale to catch reader's interests. One of them says "uncut cock". Though it was a rather minor mention in the first chapter, I thought it was interesting that I did mention it in a previous tale.

It's called Debra's Secret Life: Ch 01 if you want to take a look at it. Just so you know it's "fan fic" of the TV show Everybody Loves Raymond centered around Debra Barone. The man in the tale is a 100% fictional character that was never on the show.

I've really gotten into HBO's Rome lately and can really see this as a tale!! It's funny, too, other than occasional "old fashioned" words it really doesn't seem too historical. I mean, heck, the actors speak English (so we can understand the show, of course) and most of them (the leading women anyway) have British accents. lol Still, it's a very good show and based on how it portrays things it's making me less "scared" to tackle ancient historical tales. Not that I could get to it soon, though. lol

Thoughts

I don't know if there is a large audience for this type of story, but here goes an idea to toss out there:

It is a sad state of affairs, but a great many women in the US have never seen a natural (uncircumcised) penis in their life. To me, there is a HUGE possibility of great stories of American women who are experiencing their first 'uncut' guy ever.

Could be ladies traveling abroad, could be moving from NY to California (low circ rates), anything. It could also be women hearing that 'theres something different about Johnny.' Or, women who have the desire of the unknown, and driven to cheat to feel the new sensations of foreskin inside them.

Lots of ideas come to mind...


Luckily US circumcision rates are dropping off very fast, 80% in 1980 and only 50% nowadays. Perhaps this whole fantasy/idea will be irrelevant in about 20 years if we're lucky.

Now comes the fun question... does anyone else see this as a theme that can be played with? A lot of erotic implications can come out of it...

I'm Jewish. But, uncut can have more problems with cleanliness and STDs. Really, I don't see the big difference.
