Yes, well, I thought I could sign up as the second one, but how do you get in?
You have to sign in, but where do you say you want to participate and this is my username and this is my password?

Click on 'sign in' and entered a user name and password in the boxes provided. Then press 'log in'.
It didn't accept my first attempt, I had to remove their cookie (see Tech FAQ's on their home page).
Once I had done that it resistered me, takes you to you own registration page.
It is not a clear process, they seem to admit this on their Tech page.

I've done it all including deleting cookies (very tasty they were too) anyhow...I'll find a way in the end i'm sure...

I've just checked my registration page at the site, since I used the same name and password as last year it registered me, all of the content on my 'Nano home page' are last years - now updated.
Looks like they have a problem, new entrants need to register somewhere.

I've just checked their site, a new message has appeared which states a new 2004 site will be open at midnight Pacific time - I guess that is some couple of hours away. I think all I've none is change my data on Nano 2003!

Scratch that, the message now says 3pm Pacific which is roughly 11pm UK time.
