NaNoWriMo 2005 - Join, write, be a novelist!

OMG! I'm going to a kickoff party Sunday!

How weird is that?

Does anyone think writing up businesscards with my lit website, my Alex756 name, the Alex Brier name and all is too weird?

Normally when I go to other things where I might want to contact people later I have cards with my 'business' name and email and all so I thought maybe printing up some quick with my Alias info might be good?

Well I am broken and laid up for the entire month of November.... so I figured.... heck why not.... I just joined the party :nana:
 
My final preparations are also well underway. I have fall break now, thank heavens, and a litte bit of free time to get everything ready.

What in the world was I thinking? This is going to be hell.

November is busy, busy, busy for me.
 
Oh, November's gonna be easy for me. I've got two whole days between my computer science exam and the start of my two new courses in mathematics and Java programming. :rolleyes:

Why use Websters dictionary when it can be so much fun just making up my own definitions?

This is going to come close. I have the first cut of a plot and now I want to layer threads and I don't even have my yarn (even if I am on pins and needles).

Fri, Sat, Sun, Mon to go - hey Svenskaflica, that's 4 days. No fair starting early. Just because you're up there in the land of awful long winter nights doesn't mean you get special treatment. You only get the special treatment because you have such a sexy looking tongue and those long nights can be inspiring, thinking of that. ;)

If anyone is still looking for ideas, just peruse all the neat AV's in this thread. BTW, mine is an actual location on the coast of Ireland.

Well, back to the rumination of my story. If my brain freezes up, would it be ruminoid arthritis? I think I've been up too many hours today.

Everyone rest and relax and have wild sex this weekend - kind of like a New Years Eve party to the new writing challenge. Hey, if the Romans could switch from March to Ianuary (stupid spell checker, J wasn't invented until the 1600's) as the first month for money reasons, why can't we switch to November for writing reasons. (Oh, and don't forget to include all the wild sex in your stories, you know... research.)

I am, but I need to give some thought as to hwhere it's going. I did kinda wrap up my main characters, at least pretty well at the end of one ;)
 
Ok, I signed up for this cuz it looks like a chance to accomplish something for once in my life :) How many of you AHer's are writing Erotic fiction for NaNo? I'm thinking probably not, cuz I don't think I can come up with anything that long. Anyhow...3 more days *nervous giggle*

This is the first time I've ever been told that I have a sexy looking tongue!!! :eek: :D :nana:

And in my defense, I'm saying it's 3 days left because according to my countdown script, it was 3 days and 23 hours left. On the last day, when you say it's one day left, I'll say it's LESS than one day left - it's 23 hours left, 22 hours left, 21 hours and 45 minutes left... you get the point. :cathappy:

I'll be writing something erotic, at least in the sense that sex will be plentiful and explicit, because I'm apparaently incapable of conceiving of anything compelling that doesn't involve loads of sex, and coming up with something that long is all I'm able to do.

But can I write more than 7 words a day? That remains to be seen.

LOL, see but you already wrote more than 7 words today. :) I suspect I'm going to have to totally erase this forum from my mind for the month, or I'll wind up spending more time here than I do writing. And the Christmas contest :( I prolly won't be able to do that. Oh well :)
