I made horrible picks last week. However, I did get to spend last weekend at Patriot's Place. Of course the Patriot's were in NY so the place was a little deserted but it was my first time at the stadium/restaurant/shopping/hotel complex. Very impressive. The hotel was of course over priced but we had a great view of the stadium. Ocean Spray even at a working cranberry bog that we toured through behind a BassPro Shop that is part of the greater complex. The Patriot Hall of Fame was very well done, too with an interesting section on the history of American football.

One of these days I'll actually go on a home game weekend.

Some interesting games this week. If the Lions pull the upset and beat the Vikings in Minnesota (something they haven't done since Clinton was President), it would be a crushing blow to Favre. Who wins between the Packers and Bears? The Jets and the Dolphins? The battle of Texas? And in an unexpected battle of unbeaten teams, the Bucs vs. the Ben-less Steelers?
