Not, Organized, Super-Organized, A/R, or OCD?

So this is what my desks are *supposed* to look like all - or at least most - of the time. Unfortunately, some semblance of this will last a week or two, then they will get progressively more chaotic and stacked until I can't take it any more. Then they'll look like this again.

My anal retentive side felt the need to point out the website currently being shown on SirW's screen at the time that particular picture was taken.

In terms of the question, I know where things are unless I thought about putting them in a specific place. For example, if it makes sense one day to put the paper clips in the same drawer as the rubber bands then I'll never find the paper clips again. But if I simply shove them into a slot (feel free to laugh), I'll find them again in no time when they are needed.

The only thing that stays organized is my computer and that's because I have to have certain files, and I have to have them fast.

I marked I'm semi-organized - some things are, some aren't. One reason I keep my house general clean because I have found it is a hell a lot easier just spot cleaning than massive overhaul when "special" guest are coming over. The main reason I do it though is huge messes drives me batshit if I have to live in it.

I'm a slob. Clutter doesn't bother me in the least. When things start getting icky, I'll clean them. But disorganization? Not a problem to me.

She speaks the truth. But now that I'm her personal live-in-maid, as her owners call me, lol, her place is clean as was mine. I had to do it in order to live here, I couldn't have handled the mess and I think she knew that. (She knows "Kitty will get tried of it and clean it eventually" although it is the very least I can do.)
