I am all for you starting the thread. Are you going to post like a general outline? Are we supposed to meet up? Or are we supposed to just pursue the swords on our own? Not sure what you had in mind

Okay. The Gods want the swords, they'll come to you. Also, a small group "The Black Temple" is collecting them in this magical sheath thing that can hold all of them (even Coinspinner

Well... I was thinking of having a Drunk... used to be a locksmith right, but owed the Red Temple alot of money, due to gambling problems, and so they took his home, his tools, and even... (if they would) his woman.
So now he tries to get money, but fails miserably as he drowns his sorrows nightly in the Temple, ringing up an even larger debt. Still he gambles in the hopes of paying them back

Ok, how about if they throw your character in the dungeon for bad debts . When you are in the dungeon, digging around in the cell to find something to pick the lock; you notice a loose stone in the floor. You pull up the stone and reveal the sword. You heft the sword , planning on fighting your way out when the guards come to bring bread and water, but instead, the guards think you are a Fellow Guardsman. They let you out since the guardsman that they think you are is a tough one that has thrashed them before. How about that?

Yeah. Your character is your own. Do whatever. But most Red T. Guards are corrupt, not drunks. I mean bribes and,....things.
And yes, the Red Temple would take your woman. (Prostitution! Whoo!)

Or maybe....the last userused it to try and trick the Temple guards. But they saw it as someone they feared, and killed them. And surprised by the change once the sword was dropped and the guy was dead, they ran off and you just happened to come upon just as some other guards investigate it. You pick up the sowrd, they start calling you 'Sir' and crap, you look at the hilt, and figure out what sword it is.
Or something completely different. It's your character. Do whatever the Hell you want. You want the heavens to part and the sword fall into you hand as it flashes with sunlight, a terrible storm all around, go ahead. I mean, the Gods did let them loose for a game and no one ever described how they were first found. It's entirely beleivable.

Some guards killed the sucker who had the sword, and upon falling from his hands, they ignored it. Seeing it as a way to get money (i.e. selling it) I pick it up. Not knowing what the hell kind of sword it is, just thinking I could get some pretty pennies... So on trying to sell it, the owners of shops pay me their protection money and ask me to leave...

That's fine. The first post for the entire thread is just going to be the Song of Swords and maybe a little thing about the Gods. THrow my charcter in after a few posts. I'd really like everyone to do a few posts about how they got the sword, because, Hell, the Swords are directly related to the plot!

Hey Mage, how about being a wizard of the Black Temple sent to recover the swords? I've got a few men with me, personal guards, elite of course (probably only two men). I'd call wound healer but heres an idea.
Hey poohlive? How sold are you on Wayfinder? If you'd wanna trade me Woundhealer for Wayfinder that would be awesome. Then I could start trying to track the swords down one by one with Wayfinder (well, the swords that aren't immune to it.)
