I'm not sure if we need more characters but that's not to say you shouldn't bring in anyone else.

We definetly need a telepath and another leader to replace Ithica both for her character's position and cause she was such a good contributor.

I'd been kicking around the idea of bringing in Lifeguard to help keep the mansion itself more of a fire-free zone.

Will see about bringing in Thunderhead once things are settled along with Lifeguard. Thunderhead to go out and play with, Lifeguard to keep in the mansion, 'holding down the fort' so to speak.

Parnell Jacobs knew Jim Rhodes, the previous War Machine from his military days. He became a freelance mercenary after being discharged. Rhodey declined to join him, remarking that Parnell was now working for the 'scum that you and I joined the Corps to fight against'. Parnell became wealthy as a result of his mercenary activities and bought a number of luxuries for himself and his wife Glenda.
How Parnell came to associate with Stuart Clarke is unknown. He claims he found the lost War Machine armor and decided to use it rather than sell it.
He was drawn into conflict with Iron Man when ordered by Sunset Bain to attack a firm Tony Stark was scheduled to do consultation work for. Rhodey immediately alerted Stark. Even with Warbird assisting the injured Iron Man, Parnell was able to destroy the firm and escape the heroes.
Rhodes was able to identify Parnell after hearing a phrase he used on the news broadcast: "It looks like you weren't ready to play the game today."
After a second battle with Iron Man and subsequent confrontation with Rhodes and Glenda, Parnell abandoned his employer. He retained the War Machine armor although he discarded some additional weaponry Clarke had developed for it. Parnell's current whereabouts are unknown.

We hadn't really one that far into it since we are using a flexible continuity.

So far it looks like the Grant Morrison lineup with Cyck, Jean, Emma, Beast (who isn't around) adn the Prof running the mansion, with Storm, Havok, Gambit and Rogue rounding out various teams.


So you can establish more of what happened even though Cyke and Jean are NPC and under arrest at the moment.

I'm NOT planning on using Lifeguard for mission work. She's far too unfair a character for that. I want to explore the issues of being part Shi'ar and part human- plus she'll be a fun teacher, I think.

Now Thunderbird- he seems pretty spiffy for mission stuff.

And, gasp, I'm in third person, which is odd but with Bryn and Rogue both being first person, felt I had to do something to keep them seperate.
