Our Football

I know it looked poor but it was nothing as bad as the old days! That’s not condoning it I hasten to add.
Yeah it didn’t look good but it was mostly posturing from behind the safety of the police, except for the morons throwing the flares. I hope they track them down, those things can cause serious injuries.
I started going to Arsenal in the mid-80s and it was a lot more dangerous back then

Mind you City and Rovers hate each other, last time we played was live on Sky in 2013 they stopped the coverage at the end.......
we wont play each other in the league again for many years as Rovers are shyte :ROFLMAO: Bristol Is Red!!!
It’s Red indeed, just like north London 😁
I remember watching the Bristol derby on sky a few years ago, I was going to say it might have been this game in 2013 but the coverage did show the pitch invasion and clashes so might have been a different year if that was a regular occurrence 😂

Totally agree as City yes is my 1st club but the only other club i follow as a fan is Arsenal :)

I feel the need to have a grumble about the offside rule in its current form.
Anyone see the disallowed goal for Wrexham last night? His TOE was offside.

Isn't this just killing the joy of football? And I don't mean from a giantkilling in the cup point of view. Its just sanitising the game, there's no benefit of the doubt given to attacking teams, which was a phrase bandied about years ago but never acted on.

I'm sick of it to be honest. I used to watch all the football I could manage but now I've never felt so distant from the game.

Rant over.

Hailing from that part of the world, the decision hasn’t gone down well. But the fanbase are proud of them.

When VAR came in, I did say to those advocating for it, be careful what you wish for. We’re now seeing it in practice.

Cracking result for the Vale today. Hope they get their big draw at home. The place will be bouncing!

I’m no lover of Palace but this was completely ridiculous. Someone’s face was offside? What a farce. I get why it was brought in for “clear and obvious” errors but this????

hopefully Citys women team get promoted this season to the WSL so then Arsenal will come to Ashton Gate and i see Alessia Russo and Katie McCabe play :)
I’ll have my fingers crossed for them. I’ve never had a chance to visit Ashton Gate and that would be a good opportunity to add another ground to my list
