part 11 of the China Pearl Inn

Jack Thanks for taking care of the Inn. I have not been well. Keep up the good work. ;)

Hope you and Cait's story is going well.

I'm happy to do it and glad you think I'm doing well. I hope you feel better soon, though this is your place. Take care of yourself.

My story with the lovely Cait is at an exciting juncture. The characters are meeting up, and this has been a different way to tell a story here, and I'm thoroughly enjoying it.

Also, I'm working on another romantic erotic project here, which is just starting well. And I might be doing another roleplay as well. I wish the rest of my life would operate as well.

Tio enters and finds the Inn empty. He hopes that all is well with CG. To the kitchen, then, and he prepares a pot of Turkish coffee for himself and any other who agrees that there's no such thing as strong coffee - there are only weak people.

To a chair by a window, with java, moleskine, and Koh-I-Noor, to pen some words and doodle some images.

She popped in and sniffed. Coffee. Strong coffee. She knew that smell having lived off it in the time she had spent in another country. The smell of Turkish coffee brought back memories from her past. Some good. Some bad.

"May I have some of that coffee Tio, please?"

She slid into a seat next to him with a small smile.

"Besides, not only has this week been busy but next week will as well. I need something strong for sure."

Of course, Cait. Help yourself. I was just sitting down for a bit of fiction in word and image.

Busy is a mixed blessing, I find - a conjoining of elation and anxiety. It can be a pleasure occasionally, a pain when it's continuous.

So Tio you're exercising your mind and imagination. I am sure Cait is a lovely inspiration. ;)

I am a bit of at odds as the threads I was working on, my writing partner is missing.

I was toying with the idea for a story about an "Undercover"
rooky cop who has to go into a high-class brothel.

Yes, cg, Cait is inspiring.

I'm sorry to hear of your disappearing partner; such happens, but is particularly vexing when you're enjoying the play.

As for your idea, I would hope the assignment involves a brothel that caters to the unusual tastes of the perversely wealthy.

But of course Tio, but if it is taken up my writing partner would have her input as well. ;)

That's the significant difference between story writing and role playing - you don't determine the response or initiation of the other main character.

Thank you, Tio. Btw, I'm going to try not to be MIA this week, but that might be rough to do. Just letting you know.

Yo, CG... If your writing partner is a no go, let me know. I wouldn't mind a part in a high-class brothel. be a change of pace for sure. :D

Awww. you and CG are too kind.

If Cait takes a position in your high class brothel, cg, put me on your client list; there are quite a few positions I'd like to have her in. ;)

Oh! You're here, Cait. No, we're not too kind; we really do appreciate you.

Hi Cati good to see you. I am afraid that she is a no go. So you want to go to the brothel.

I slid over three fingers of Irish to Cait.

To a happy Thanksgiving:kiss:

Yes. a Happy Thanksgiving to you Americanos! (We had ours back in October).

And I wouldn't mind a hand or two of the Irish, meself, cg.

Sorry I missed Canadian Thanksgiving. Tio I should have remembered as I started out in Canada. ;)

Pas de problème, cg; I'm not big on Thanksgiving anyway. I never was partial to the myth of the Europeans befriending the "ignorant savages" and bringing them the "word of God" as they attempted to exterminate them. And, by the way, if you excavate early New England colonial middens, you won't find any turkey bones.

TIO!!! *blushes*

Well, thank you. I appreciate you all as well.

Happy Thanksgiving, Everyone

Oh, I want to do a high-class hooker. *grins* Send me a PM and let me know what you're thinking, CG.

Oui Tio, pas problème. Having come from a reserve in Quebec I am well aware of the Myths around the first Thanksgiving. That being said I take the day to remember the things I am thankful for.
Cait what are your plans for Thanksgiving? I'll be off to see family that is out here then back on Friday.

Yes, there is always much to be thankful for, but I try to do that everyday. Btw way, I was adopted as a baby by an American couple. They often told the story of how the nuns at the Crêche were so repeatedly insistent that I wasn't "un Indien," that they concluded I must be.

I always never cared what people called me Tio. I know who and what I am. Just don't call me late for dinner Tio. ;)

Tio kahkakiw is the Mohawk reserve by Morial. Ondanak is the Abanaki reserve by Lac St Peire and that is where I started out. The first weekend in July is the gathering of the families.

Kahkakiw is Cree for Raven; tsyo'kawe'kó:wa is Mohawk for the same. The time around the Summer Solstice is a good time for gathering. Well have to talk of the Abanaki sometime; there is much past and present there.

Tio yes, we shall. It is the story of a refugee people displaced from their home.
