Pink Orchid 2024: Story Event for Women-Centric Erotica - Official Support Thread

By the same token, in some cases, showing a woman's (shaved) armpit may be meant as perhaps the limit allowed for a particular rating. Armpits are frequently covered and can be considered among the "private parts" in some situations.
You seem to be particularly focused on armpit hair.

Women's beach volleyball is popular with men for a reason.
And that reason isn't seeing armpit hair.

I was thinking maybe a sequel to She's a Bully. Or another, My Name's Amy. Hell, I don't think My Name's Amy is even here. (kind-a has some stuff not allowed here.)
I enjoyed the first She's a Bully, and I'd be interested in reading a sequel

There exists at least one female vlogger/documenter who has recently been actively going against "the patriarchal ideal of feminine beauty" (my words) -- I think she said something about boycotting the cosmetics industry, but she goes beyond that.
In another hundred years, maybe more women will have taken back their bodies to the extent that unshaved armpits will be common on women.

We must not hang around the same women. Can't say I've been watching closely, but I'd be surprised if as many as a quarter of those I know shaved their pits.

First-person POV is an example of something which may be better suited to short stories than novels.

???

Some other counter-examples are The Hunger Games and the first Jack Reacher novel (Killing Floor by Lee Child).

To Kill A Mockingbird
The Wasp Factory
The Murder of Roger Ackroyd
Jane Eyre
Huckleberry Finn
Treasure Island
Call Me By Your Name
The Hate U Give
Binti
I Claudius
A Farewell to Arms
and seven-eighths of the Sherlock Holmes novels

just to name a few.

You're in luck, one has been outlined. It'll go up for sale for a month or two before I post it here, but their adventure ain't over. Appropriately, at least for now, the title is She's a Bully 2. If I have a third installment, it's going to be She's Still a Bully (part three of the Bully Saga), or so the plan goes for now. And I'm ever so pleased you enjoyed my little, twisted tale of female superiority, @MediocreAuthor.

I had forgotten
Sherlock Holmes
but most of those are short stories, with four (?) longer works.

You also remind me -- "The Spy Who Loved Me ... Ian Fleming's James Bond ... It is the shortest and most sexually explicit of Fleming's novels ... the story is told in the first person by a young Canadian woman, Vivienne Michel."
Still, probably not a good example of what this challenge is about.

No writing by the misogynistic Ian Fleming would make the cut. Well, he may not have been, but his characters were. I mean, really, a woman cured of lesbianism by the touch of Bond's hands, his loving (no not loving) embrace, the thrust of his cock, and the warmth of his kiss, GIVE ME A BREAK!!!!

Agreed. Very unrealistic. And on top of that, why would any self- respecting man want to do that? Lock out a threesome or watching a hot girl on girl encounter? Your loss, Mr Fleming.

Actually, there are scads of Sherlock Holmes Novels, they just weren't written by Sir Author Conan Doyle. But still, most are sanctioned by ACD society. Nicholas Myer wrote three great Holmes novels.

I would propose this tale, without revenge, without anger, just a queen reigning from the Throne (and queening on her young lover's face):
A Satisfied Clyt: the Cretan Queen
The Spartan princess Clytemnestra, tall and noble, was loved by Prince Agamemnon of Crete [note: I know it was Mycenae, but I need it to be in Crete for the plot]; and they married, married, loved each other, and gave birth to an only daughter, Iphigenia. Eighteen years later, Venus helped the Trojan princes to take Clyt's sister Helena, Queen of Sparta, from the Royal Palace. The Clyt’s husband, King Agamemnon led the coalition against the heinous kidnappers.
but plot twist: no vengeance, no jealousy.
What do you think about that?
A little bit connected to my already published short tale https://www.literotica.com/s/holding-out-for-a-hero-2

PS: Omenainen, I wrote you a conversation but I don't know if you can reach the file.

Welcome! The more the merrier. I'm sure a Spartan princess will fit right in.

If she's dressed.. spartanly! Hoo hoo hoo ha ha ha. :D

(Yeah, I know I'm part of the problem. Good news though, I'll be away from my PC for a few days so I'll have some time to re-think some of my life choices.)

Yes! No... After a holiday in Knossos with my wife, I developed an obsession with Cretan fashion: long wide skirts, maybe just a bolero on the shoulders, and bare chests.
My Clytennestra Wise Queen looks a lot like the one painted by John Collier, 1914, Worchester City Museum, without the sword. Only strong feet, broad shoulders and bare breasts.

While we're here... favourite kick ass female character?

Ripley

Too hard to pick just one. Lisa Coleman is my favorite out of my creations, I guess a close second would be The Boss of Metal Gear Solid matched in near sequence by Kitty Pryde, Faith Lehane, Xena, Barbara Gordon, and many others. I have a huge fondness for kick ass female characters, a Hall of Fame, you might say. :)

If you meant “Kick Ass” female characters- Hit Girl is my pick from the movies and Red Mist’s mother from the comics. The latter do her character far more justice than the film version, although the films do better with Katie Deauxma IMO.

I did like Kick Ass. But yeah, was talking in general about iconic strong female characters in books and films

Ripley
Princess Leia. She resists torture and has the presence of mind to give a false location for the Rebel base. She's made to watch as her home planet being blown up, yet when she's "rescued" a little later she's in firm control and gets her rescuers out of trouble. She pilots the Millennium Falcon during the escape, and also makes the decision to lead the Death Star to Yavin because she knows that this is the one chance the Rebels have of facing it and destroying it. She knows first-hand what the Death Star can do, and still she remains on Yavin while it's approaching to help oversee the attack.

That's a woman who takes the galaxy by the scruff of its neck and says, "Now this is how it's going to be."
