Hey theres nothing wrong with spice. Did not the king bring a dash of paprika to Mary at the manger? But remember the tale of Eve and the tree of knowledge. Prayer can solve every problem but if a person finds themselves apparently rejected by God, the answer is not to kneel before Satan, but its time to journey.
