Rise of the titans OOC and casting call

Yes, You are right Cider. However this is something like the formation stages of said organization if you want to view it like that. There is no defacto leader yet, no organized structure, however at least both my current characters will have access to enough wealth to start an organization and allow it to expand as we recruit not only scions and gods but also humans to help in their endeavors. Now this brings me to the next point. People can play regular humans too. Especially if an organization develops.

I'll post again for the hound in the morning so feel free to beat up the hound, but do not kill it! I have plans :D

Allie won't be posting again anytime soon and I'm waiting for Brian to post, then I might have Asuka unlock a brief bout of her powers before I leave.

I wonder how the wealth of your characters will compare to the wealth of my character, Tymeless. He's been stealing the fortunes of criminals for years, so he's bound to have a lot saved up.

I'm working on Xavier's actions with regards to the scumbag Cider introduced. I'm thinking I'll split that up into at least two posts so that it's more manageable. I'll try to have the first part up tonight.

Thinking Allison is from old industrial money so her adopted dad is probably in the top 100 richest people, and Asuka's probably sitting on a 200 million or so, however Xavier is probably somewhere around Allison's level or a little richer.

how DO you disable a hellhound without killing it? *laughs*

okay... so maya's out... and lexi's out... any ideas where this is heading so i don't inadvertently make an ass-pull post? (i was surprised to see how fast the thread moved in the few hours i'd been away.)

Okay,

I'm out of commission until sometime a week from now. As a result you are welcome to use my characters if it's necessary. I will leave it up to Tight n Ready, and the 2 reincarnated gods to drive plot until I get back since the actions of your characters will rely on that.

Well, I'm just waiting on Jedi Khan's post, but if a week goes by or something, then I'll just move along.

I loled at Hayden's 1970s pussy wagon. Wow, did this game become a Scooby Doo investigation? The unsolved mystery of the Hell Hounds. :D

Congratulations, and enjoy :).

I'll begin setting up for a meeting with Jessie HotCider, and I will continue posting for the Hellhound once you decide to try interrogating it :).

I'll try to have the first part up tonight.

I really should stop saying things like that, because almost as soon as I do, life gets distracting and I end up not meeting my own deadline.

Anyways, part one is up. Gonna do a little interaction with Lydia, then proceed with the rest of Xavier's plans.

Yeah, I was wondering what happened to everyone. People went quiet. I will not let this die!

Just waiting on somebody to take the wheel of the bus, if by afternoon nothing happened I'll just let the powers that be take over young Steve again. His reluctance should probably be noticed by somebody sometime.

I'll probably have to be Steve cause Brian is gone for a few days and my character is stuck because Jedi has gone MIA.

I'm back. I'll do what i can to post today or tomorrow hopefully

I'm sure she is since we had a few drop outs. Post up a profile and see if she'll accept it.

I'd just like to check that Hayden's strength is only cause of his size right? No actual extra godly aspect? Just he appears to be carrying a beast the size of a draft horse around as though it were a sack of potatos. There is no way a normal human, 7ft or not could carry a 2000lb Hellhound.

And here I thought it to be a bit smaller. We will need a bigger van then. Hmmmm lemme check something...

Edit: Godly aspect as stated in Bio. Thing is that he can do things like that and use shadow magics, but when he's drained he's done, until he have slept to build up said power again.

Ok my character:

Melinda (although she goes by a wide range of aliases and has never admitted to a last name)

Age: 18

Appearance: Usually a fit looking 18 year old girl with red hair, green eyes and a gymnats build. Her clothing is usually practical and comfortable (jeans, t shirt) although she keeps a wide wardrobe.

History: Melinda was raised by a family of grifters. Related (illegitamitely on her mother's side) to Charles Ponzi one of the most famous con artists in US history and William "Slick Willie" Sutton one of the most famous bank robbers she already had a high standard to live up to. She was running her first three card monte games before the training wheels came off her bike and her first burglary before she was in a training bra (carried out on the mansion of a man who had made his fortunes conning the elderly out of social security checks her family tends to favor a robin hood mentality of robbing the greedy and cruel). All this time she thought she was the offspring of a drifter and her mom although her mom made vague references to her dad being some legendary con man and thief.

When she was 15 she pulled off her biggest theft so far. She broke into a stash of stolen artwork containing numerous peices valued in the billions. Over the following week she staged a series of additonal break ins at art museums retuning the stolen pieces cluminating in returning a Monet (that no one had realized had been replaced with a fake) to the Louvre Museum with photographs and other evidence pointing to the original thief. As she made her way out of the Louvre she could hear someone chuckling it was then she met her dad for the first time.

He gave her multiple names when they met claiming to have been all of them (among them Hermes, Loki, Coyote, Rabbit, Anansi, and Harry Houdini) she suspects he is in fact Coyote the trickster of Navajo lore and she suspects (although isn't sure) that some or maybe all of the others may also have been Coyote operating under another name. mostly though she calls him by his Archetype the Trickster. He spent some time with her improving her skills as a magician (in the mundane sleight of hand sense) and pick pocket as well as introducing her to her divine aspect.

Mundane skills: Gifted in Acrobatics, climbing, repelling, unarmed combat, throwing knives and pistols (although she's loathe to use them and if she carries one its almost always unloaded a habit her relative Sutton was famous for). Expert in lockpicking, security systems, computers, sleight of hand. She can also speak Arabic, Spanish, English and Italian fluently and knows enough Japanese and Mandarin to order food at a resturant or ask directions without sounding stupid. She's also gifted at faking accents although a good dialectician or native speaker will usually spot it. She's also wealthy from sucsessful cons and robberies although she rarely advertises this prefering to dress simply and drive a beat up motorcycle rather then an expensive car... unless a role calls for it.

Aspect: She can alter her shape into another human or a natural animal she's familiar with. She's spent enough time at zoos to be familiar with most well known species. She can't change into a form she doesn't know (so she could become a famous person or a person she's spent time around but not someone she'd only seen a picture of for example) and while her voice adapts to form manerisms and the like have to be learned. As an animal she gains their own inherent abilities (flight for birds, echolocation for bats) although she requires practice to use them (common animals that can be found in most Zoos she already knows this well more exotic ones she'll need practice at). She can not take the form of any supernatural creature at the moment nor any animal thats extinct.
