Scion: Seeds of Glory OOC/Recruitment

Hehe, if you wanted I could email you the stats for those fellows. They're pretty simple, though - I used the base stats for experienced soldiers, I think, with a few adjustments. If you've got "Scion: God", I based them on the followers of one of the Avatars of Muspelheim.

I like co-opting the lesser beings of the Titans as "monster of the week". It lets me get the fun of having them inside a Greater Titan without having to wait until they're God-level to do it :D

I have all the books, including the travesty that is the Yazata pantheon. I'll check the muspelheim avatars and get back to you if I need help.

Did anyone catch the pop culture reference in my 3rd post? (I think it was 3rd...)

That would be IC. Its a novel reference, and I stand corrected, its my 4th post.

I'll give cats a few more hours to cut in, and then I'll go ahead and post, to keep momentum.

woops, sorry skyrim ate me this week end.

I want to make a joke about eating you or you being eaten here, but it's just not coming. Please accept my apologies. I shall try to be better at being comical/pervy.

Hope we didn't go too crazy on you! I can't wait to see Crystal's reaction to what's been said/decided. :)

Original IC draft.

Crystal puts her hands over her ears. "LA LA LA! I AM NOT LISTENING! LA LA LA!"

:cathappy:

Ha!

And Evan would say "Yeah? Well, good! We were just talking about you!" And then they'd get into a fight over what was said, which would devolve into wrestling around in the wet greenery, which would turn into a threesome.

Awww, yeah!

...Okay, so it wouldn't. A man can dream though. A man can dream.

In a leather vest with a hairy chest? Huh, I saw her looking completely different.

...oh. Different kind of bear, gotcha. ;)

See my vest, see my vest,
Made from real gorilla chest,
Feel this sweater, there's no better,
Than authentic Irish setter.

Oh, IC all the way. Brigitte has just begun thinking about the relative morality of what she does. Of course, you could avoid the debate altogether by simply ignoring what she said and suggesting we go to bed and tackle the problems of the world in the morning.

Oddly that is kind of what I did after weighing in on the issue.

Cats spends four motes and activates Lunar Social Perfect! Brigitte's a renegade Abyssal if she's anything at all, and totally buys it.

I hope the Exalted reference wasn't wasted here.

I'm all for moral debate, IC or OOC, I view it as tremendously valuable. But if we're putting it off for now, I'll accept that as well. It can rear it's head another time though.

Well, cats has withdrawn from the field, certainly, but Evan can continue it if he is so inclined. Or we can put it off. It'll come up again the first time Brigitte has to cut down a titanspawn that is the least bit sympathetic.

Alas for Crystal's ease of sleep, Evan's the kind of guy who's going to talk. So Brigitte will get at least one volley back and forth before the wheel turns to daytime. :)

And I got the Exalted reference. My favorite RPG, actually. :D

Never played it.

Any one for Betrayal at the House on the Hill?

Got an easy pop reference in my latest post, for anyone who cares.

And as far as it goes, do we want to write out the night or move them ahead to the next day?

If there's nothing doing in the night, we can skip ahead. I'll probably post one about what Brigitte is doing while Evan and Crystal sleep, then relinquish time to the GM's pleasure. If we're going to get jumped by goons or something X-rated is going to happen in the night (or both), I'm happy to keep right on posting. I suppose the former is up to 'Boots, though, and the latter up to you and Cats. This first night, Brigitte won't participate unless forced to, by main strength or by knacks (almost said charms).

Exalted is my favorite, too. I just started up in an RPG.net campaign, as a heroic mortal no less. We're in the invisible fortress, and I'm headed for an Abyssal Exaltation.

So, going to spring the trap for us, eh? Well, hopefully the Master Archer and The Swordswoman can cover your bet when the House comes calling. With that said, I think its fairly obvious that I expended the legend necessary to kick in Body Armor, and I'll further dump the legend required to turn on fleet of foot. I'd rather be down 2 legend and look a little foolish than have to waste time powering up.

Relevant Defensive Stats (In "Battle Form")

Soak: 8L/8B
(3/3 for the leathers, 2/2 for the Epic Stamina, 3/3 for Body Armor)

Parry DV: 7
(5 Dex +5 Melee +0 Defense = 10. 10/2 = 5. 5+2EDex = 7)

Dodge DV: 10
(5 Dex + 3 Athletics + 3 Legend = 11. 11/2=5.5=6. 6+2Edex (Twice for U.O)=10

Let's Party.

I hope that they can! But I've got faith in the girls.

And if not, well, maybe they can use their sexual healing on Evan. Or at least make-out a little bit so he can watch before he succumbs to his wounds. ;)
