I know! My point is that it's still a strange choice of name, because it's not very similar to butter even in that respect. It is much more like that of jam/jelly. So I have every sympathy for @vagrantx's linguistic outrage. The name makes it sound like something that shouldn't exist, when in fact it's delicious fruit preserves.
