One thing about being on Lit, it gives me personal stakes in national issues thousands of miles from me, puts faces and (user)names to things like a hurricane. I worry about @lavendersilk's travel to work on dirt roads and @morelikeasong's big trees around her house (hot tree crews not withstanding), and all of the rest of you in the path of the storm.

You are all in my thoughts, for whatever that is worth.
