It so rarely drops below freezing here that if we get actual snow or sleet we just shut down for a day or two. There’s no point in having hundreds of thousands or millions of dollars of equipment for 4-5days a decade use. It easier to just take the down time

Had a nightmare one year when my husband was ice fishing in a sleeper house. It was the worst, most vivid nightmare I’ve ever had. Nobody goes on the ice anymore. I’m the mean mom lol
