When I was younger, I'd make use of the shower, but now I have too much of a fear of slipping and falling.

Oh, never standing up. I used to lay down in the tub and now I have a built in bench! No slipping for me

I could use a bench, for sure.

I haven't had regular access to a tub since I lived at home with my parents. I would get myself in the most preposterous contorted positions to get the faucet to stream water in just the right places. Picture a big clawfoot tub that has two bare legs in it pointed toward the ceiling. The door was definitely locked.

If you are seated and eye-level with your knees...what's the point?
