also, have you even made pancakes according to directions? They make them like oversized silver dollars, not 1/2 a dinner plate like most actual humans make them…Soooo many more than I would have guessed

Yes, but that's an alternate pancake. With my peach topped pancakes I use a Satsuma orange syrup. However, regular pancakes, be it buttermilk or plain, deserve REAL maple syrup!
