Powers and Abilities:

Genuis level inteligence and access to a wide variety of high tech weapons and devices make him a match for any super even if he possesses no provable powers of his own. (he suspects that being caught in a meteor shower at age nine has imbued him with a Super Immune System which he credits as the reason he hasn't had even a single cold since that day). He prefers when at all possible to avoid direct combat though often manipulating those around him into fighting themselves or accomplishing his goals for him.

His long term rivalry with Clark/Superman is well documented and could accurately be considered on of Lex's defining traits is his obsession over exposing and controling Superman.

He and Kara have a different relationship as he's obssesed with the beautiful angel who saved his life making his relationship with the Clarks a true mixed bag.

Thought I replied to this awhile ago. Anyway that's great Camerin. And just for the sake of having it here's some info I've found on the rings.

The Ring is a source of limitless power, and thus there is no limit to what it can do, but here are some abilities it has been shown to have.

Animating: A Green Lantern can will things to move how he wants.

Artificial Intelligence: Every ring has a connection to the Main Battery on Oa, which taps into an artificial intelligence. It acts as an "on-board computer," telling the wearer what they need to know. It can either respond out loud, or silently directly to the wearer's mind. The AI contains a large database of information that may be crucial to a Lantern's success. The ring also translates nearly every language to and from the wearer, which is why the Corps can communicate with each other. When the bearer of a Green Lantern ring dies, the ring will seek out a suitable replacement for their sector.

Burglar Alarm: A Green Lantern can coat anything with the ring's beam and thus, if anyone other than himself touches it, his ring will glow, alerting him to the possible theft.

Communicator: The ring can act as a personal communicator between Green Lanterns. They have also been seen connected to telephones.

Costumes: The wearer of the ring may create any costume they choose, based on their personal preferences, whenever they choose. The ring projects the costume over any clothes already worn at the time.

Energy Beams, Bubbles, Force-Fields, and Blasts: The rings can also project beams, form protective bubbles and force fields, and fire destructive blasts. Sometimes, depending on the wearer, the beams and blasts make sounds.

Energy Constructs: The rings can construct anything the wearer can imagine from hard-light energy, as long as they are willing to make it. The more determined the wearer is, the more complex and intricate these things can be. The constructs can even be so complex as to form working machines, computers, and even people.

Flight: The ring allows the wearer to fly in atmosphere or in space, and can achieve incredible speeds, moving from planet to planet in a matter of hours.

Invisibility: The ring can make the wearer or anything else invisible.

Matter Manipulation: A Green Lantern can use their ring to manipulate nearby matter, such as water, for various purposes such as a construct that acts like an energy construct but can block something yellow and may serve a purpose that an energy construct couldn't perform.

Mind Control: The wearer of the Ring can use it to plant post hypnotic commands or control a person.

Mirages:The Ring can create mirages/illusions.

Phasing: The ring allows the user to go through walls.

Power Absorbing:

Probing: The ring can probe the Lantern's or another person's mind, allowing him to uncover memories or the person's thoughts.

Radiation: Besides light based radiation used to create the energy constructs associated with a Green Lantern, the ring can simulate various forms of radiation. One example of this is the ability to simulate the radiation of Green Kryptonite, a form of radiation that is harmful to Superman.

Recharging: The rings need to be recharged by means of a Power Battery. Other large sources of power may be used to recharge a power ring, however effectiveness may vary.

Ring Duplication: Each ring can duplicate itself, creating a second ring which may be given to another as a backup, for protection, or to help the lantern in times of great need.

Temperature Control: The Ring can increase or decrease the temperature of anything, even something as large as stars, or even create bubbles of intense heat or cold, even down to Absolute Zero.

Transforming: The ring can transform anyone or anything, be it into an animal, altering their state of appearance, or their size.

X-Ray: The ring can allow the user to see through walls, without the people on the other side knowing.

Deciding to form a galactic peacekeeping corps, the Guardians forged a giant Main Power Battery on planet Oa, combining their own energy with the planet's ambient power. They chose 3600 agents and gave each a ring, a power battery linked to the Main Battery, and a sector of space to protect. A Corps member could select his own successor.

These rings, create/do anything the wearer can imagine, their powers include time travel, and also allow the wearer to fly. The ring's potency depends on the willpower of the wearer. The rings can also create duplicates of themselves. Reserve power automatically protects the wearer from mortal harm. The ring must be charged every 24 hours by touching the battery for 10 seconds, during which time the Green Lantern will usually recite their oath, and it's energy cannot affect anything colored yellow.

HISTORY
Lois Lane was born in a United States Army Hospital outside Wiesbaden, Germany, and grew up on army bases around the world. The older of two daughters, Lois often came into conflict with her father, Sam Lane. A career military man and strict disciplinarian, Sam was determined to raise his daughters to be as tough as the sons he desired. Lois and her sister Lucy were both drilled in hand-to-hand combat and given extensive survival training, but it was Lois who bore the brunt of Sam's criticism.

Sam returned to stateside duty at Fort Bridwell, on the outskirts of Metropolis and Lois enrolled at Metropolis University after spending most of her formative years moving from base to base. She maintained a close relationship with her cousin Chloe Sullivan and was devastated to hear that she had been killed. Lois left college and went to Smallville in search of answers. Whilst there, she encountered Clark Kent for the first time.

Eventually Lois and Clark discovered that Chloe had not been killed but apart of a witness protection scheme engineered by her father and Lex to testify against Lionel Luthor. When Chloe was recovered safely, Lois was set to return to college when she found out she had been kicked out. Eventually she would return but after an incident involving drink, she was forced to leave again.

Developing a close relationship to Mr and Mrs. Kent, Lois remained at the Kent farm for some time, much to the consternation of Clark. When Jonathan Kent chose to run for Senator, Lois was there to help him with his campaign. Her role as chief of staff continued even after Jonathan died unexpectedly of a heart attack and Martha assumed his office.

Shortly after this, Lois was bitten by the journalist bug, something she had always professed to hate. She worked first at the Inquisitor, where she was covering tabloid fodder. However, eventually, she graduated to legitimate stories in particular, the Luthorcorp experimentation of meteor infected humans. The story brought her accolades and legitimacy. It also inspired Pauline Kahn of the Daily Planet to sign her on as a real journalist. Since then, Lois has been a driven career woman who has no difficulty going where angels feared to thread to get the story.

PERSONALITY

Fiercely independent, the best way to describe Lois Lane is irascibly determined. Cocky, opinionated and headstrong, Lois has a temper that often gets the better of her and is notoriously impulsive. She dislikes authority, uniforms and discipline thanks to her father. A wildly free spirited young woman, she prefers to get by on her own and has difficulty accepting help. It's more then possible if she caught Boeing at a bad time and bought controling interest during that time. For instance Boeing losing the contract for not just the Air Force's replacement for the F-16 to Lockheed. Then losing out on the Joint Strike Fighter to Lockheed as well could have done just that.
