Green Arrow

Real Name: Oliver Queen
Height: 6'2"
Weight: 190
Hair: Blond
Eyes: Green

Biography:

Born of a rich socialite family. One of the truly special ones for they gave back to their Seattle community. He grew up in a life of privilege. Shortly after his 8th birthday He received the gift of a Mongolian bow. One his father said dated back to the days of the Huns. He shunned it do to the fact his father and mother were gone most of the year. Little did he know that would be the last day he saw either one of them alive. His parents plane went down over the Pacific Ocean where they both died. It was later found they had been stepping on Big Boss Malone's toes with their plan to clean up the lower east end with new low income housing and new shelters for the homeless. During his high school years Ollie as he was now called by his closest friends went to school with such people as the mentally disturbed Lex Luthor at Excelsior academy. Once leaving the academy he went on a boat trip where unknown to him his captain was part of a piracy operation and had decided that his ship was to much of a gem to leave under the Queen name. As such he was left to die in a life raft. He floated to a mostly unpopulated island. But not completely so for there were natives of dark skin and shaved heads that were proficient at what Ollie affectionately calls Zen archery. Through that he learned his way to survive in the wild. Hunting what he ate on only hunting what he knew he would use. And on this island when the tribe queen saw the family pendant showed him where his family went down. He found on the plane the last letter his mother ever wrote him. And he knew he wasn't abandoned all those years that his parents were away on what seamed like business trips but they were on those trips to make this world a better place. At that moment he decided to do do the same thing. only more so as something that the criminals would fear. He then with the help of his adopted tribesmen retrieved his ship and their artifact in one fell swoop. And the pirates were brought to justice. He still keeps in contact with his adopted tribe of natives when he can but his life has become that of a running gambit. He finds in the years he has been the Green Arrow that the balance of playboy billionaire and vigilante takes up most of his time. However he never forgets the lessons he learned on that island with those who knew nothing of him but still willingly took him in.

Screw em if they cant take a joke. lol

yes it is zoom not flash at his feet

Attaboy, Ollie. :: grins! :: (I don't even care which Zoom.)

Connor Hawke shot a speedster once; a hardlight hologram designed to be a throwaway evil twin for Wally. Best Zen archery I ever saw. Beautiful, beautiful shot.

Boys Like Girls - "The Great Escape"

Paper bags and plastic hearts
All our belongings in shopping carts
It's goodbye
But we got one more night
Let's get drunk and ride around
And make peace with an empty town
We can make it right

Throw it away
Forget yesterday
We'll make the great escape
We won't hear a word they say
They don't know us anyway
Watch it burn
Let it die
Cause we are finally free tonight

Tonight will change our lives
It's so good to be by your side
But we'll cry
We won't give up the fight
We'll scream loud at the top of our lungs
And they'll think it's just cause we're young
And we'll feel so alive

Throw it away
Forget yesterday
We'll make the great escape
We won't hear a word they say
They don't know us anyway
Watch it burn
Let it die
Cause we are finally free tonight

All of the wasted time
The hours that were left behind
The answers that we'll never find
They don't mean a thing tonight

Throw it away
Forget yesterday
We'll make the great escape
We won't hear a word they say
They don't know us anyway

Throw it away
Forget yesterday
We'll make the great escape
We won't hear a word they say
They don't know us anyway

Throw it away
Forget yesterday
We'll make the great escape
We won't hear a word they say
They don't know us anyway
Watch it burn
Let it die
Cause we are finally free tonight

Bartholomew "Bart" Allen / Impulse

smallville-bart-anim.png

Height: 5' 8"
Weight: 145 lbs.
Hair: Brown
Eyes: Hazel

Powers and Abilities:

Impulse has the ability to move at impossible speeds, far in excess of the speed of sound (sometimes, amazingly, even approaching the speed of light itself). His hardy metabolism allows him to run for hours without slowing, provides resilience against the withering forces and the pounding impacts of such speeds (and, handily, against the pounding impacts of villains seeking to smack him down), and enables him to regenerate quickly from injury. An "aura" provided by his link to the extradimensional Speed Force defends him against the heat of friction and enables him to communicate with other speedsters moving at similar speeds to his, despite their moving at hypersonic velocities. His reflexes, senses, and thought processes have all been accelerated proportionately to his top footspeed.

For a time after getting his speed, Bart's own hair suffered from the same lightning infusion that Jessi's does when she becomes The Flash, turning his hair blond. However, continual use of his speed (rather than switching it "on" and "off" as Jessi has to do) has caused his link to The Speed Force to stabilise, returning his hair to its natural colour.

Unlike Jessi, Bart's friction-aura is sufficient for him to run at full speed while wearing street clothes. At the same time, while Jessi's metabolism forces her to eat quite a bit more than average, Bart-- with his speed raging constantly --can barely survive without cleaning out a fridge every couple of days.

Personality:

Bart Allen is impulsive, brash, an utter wild child and an anti-authoritarian bad-ass. He talks a good game, and has almost enough skills, smarts, and juice to back that game up.

Tending to be a loner, he rejected his family's attempts to understand him just after the accident, leaving his parents and his twin sister behind. He lived the life of a master thief, or so he attempted... but he wound up getting used and abused more often than he successfully used and abused others.

A variety of influences-- including Clark Joseph Kent and Oliver Jonas Queen --have caused him to mend his attitude towards The Law and those who love him somewhat over the years, though it's doubtful he'll ever wise up entirely.

He flirts, eats, runs, and thrillseeks. This is Impulse.

His stomping ground is Where Angels Fear to Tread.

History:

Bart is the twin brother of Jessi Allen, otherwise known as The Flash.

Engulfed in a mysterious "flash of light," young Bart found himself saddled with superhuman speed and, along with that, a freakishness to which he found it nearly impossible to adjust. Rationalising that, since there was no-one like him on the face of The Earth, he shouldn't live like anyone else on Earth, he attempted to use his speed to live high on the hog and far out of reach of anyone who might attempt to love him or hurt him.

This didn't work out so well, especially once he picked the pocket of Jonathan Kent and garnered the attention of future Superman, Clark Kent. In the process, he discovered both a spirit of sacrifice that had been previously alien to him, as well as a stern but loving family in the form of Jonathan and Martha. At the same time, he met Chloe Sullivan, and she made an impact of her own on him.

Resistant to change, Bart attempted to continue his life as he'd learned to live it, thereby incurring the wrath of Lex Luthor and various lowlife thugs. Clark saved Bart even after Bart had put Clark into a bind, and this began a slow slow transformation... Bart started becoming a hero.

Smallville-run2.jpg

Two years later, Oliver Queen caught Bart stealing a meal in Star City and, seeing his potential, invited Bart into the team that would, eventually, help to bring Lex's Level 33.1 projects burning down around Lex's ears. Queen gave Bart a suit and a name and a purpose, and Bart has striven to be a better man ever since.

In the meantime, Bart has reunited with his twin on rare occasions. Discovering her dual persona and the fact that she, too, eventually developed superspeed has also gone a long way towards restoring Bart's faith in his family. His outsider superhero perspective has helped him to be very understanding of Jessi's alternate self, The Flash, and he treats her as he might treat a long-lost second sister.

He paid for The Flash's advanced uniform out of his own salary, as this, too, was developed by Queen Industries science.

His favourite country to visit is Mexico, and he's learned quite a bit of Spanish on his many trips there. Even when speaking English, his conversational style is peppered with bilingualism.

Very recently, he's taken up residence in Keystone and neighbouring Central City, trying to get used to the idea of having roots down somewhere.

He still misses Chloe, as even The Fastest Brat Alive cannot escape what might have been.

Wonder Woman/ Diana Prince

Characteristics
Super Name: Wonder Woman
Real Name: Princess Diana of Themyscira
Aliases: Diana Prince
Cassie Sandsmark
Height: 5' 11"
Weight: 135 lbs
Hair: Black
Eyes: Blue
Gender: Female
Birthday: never telling… :p

Abilities:
Super strength, speed, reflexes, stamina, durability, and hearing:
Diana possesses a host of superhuman powers granted to her by the gods and goddesses of Olympus, gifts which have been stated to be equal to their own abilities. Primary among these are superhuman strength and stamina, which she draws from a mystical link to the Earth itself granted by Demeter. Diana is one of the strongest and most powerful superheroes in the DC Universe. Her strength is on par with Superman's. Her stamina affords her an incredible degree of resistance to blunt force trauma. However, Diana's skin is not invulnerable and can be pierced by sharp projectiles.

Flight
The God Hermes gifted Diana with the powers of superhuman speed and unassisted flight, the full extent of these abilities have yet to be realized. Though in theory, since she has complete access to Hermes gift of speed, Diana can achieve speeds as fast or faster than that of Superman, as Captain Marvel portrayed when accessing the speed of Mercury (Hermes) when needing to catch the Flash. She also possesses the "sight of Athena", and the gift of increased insight, allowing her to see anywhere she desires and sense others' emotions.

Superior hand-to-hand and weapons combat skills
She is a master of armed and unarmed combat, proficient with nearly every weapon of her culture, especially the bow and the javelin. She has at times engaged in battle with beings such as Superman, Darkseid, or the Olympian Gods and held her own against them.

Animal empathy
She has enhanced senses, as well as being able to communicate with all forms of animals.

Regeneration:
She heals at an accelerated rate due to her superhuman metabolism.

Resistance to magic:
Diana has heightened resistance to magical attacks and manipulation. She is experienced in battling foes who use sorcery as a weapon.

Immunity to illusions and mind control

Ability to discern truth
Diana possesses great wisdom and intelligence, giving her heightened proficiency with languages, being able to speak her native Themysciran, Ancient and Modern Greek, English, Portuguese, Spanish, French, Mandarin Chinese (she expressed "difficulty" with the tones of Cantonese during an interview with Lois Lane), Egyptian, Russian, and Hindi.

Access to magical weaponry.

Personality:
Diana is as multifaceted as her mission demands. She is a warrior who enforces peace, a worshiper who has touched and been touched by gods and who yet preaches tolerance across all boundaries of faith, she is hard like steel and soft like satin and wise as mountains and furious as fire.

All she asks for is Truth, and she demands this of herself most of all. Being True to yourself and with yourself can be a harder battle than any fought with sword or lance.

Abilities:
From Demeter, she gains impossible stamina and strength, perhaps on a par with The Kryptonian himself (and therefore with his cousin), though her not-inconsiderable invulnerability may not meet that measure. From Artemis, she gains skill as a tracker and heightened senses and the ability to converse with all manner of beast. From Hermes, she gains speed and the ability to fly. From Athena, she gains wisdom, both wisdom of the heart and wisdom of the mind, spirit and science hand in hand. From Aphrodite, she gains boundless beauty and a heart that knows love.

Once, having passed beyond this mortal frame, she herself was The Goddess of Truth, but she has returned to life to continue the work left undone.

The scope of her abilities has been seen to wax and to wane, and it has been theorized that perhaps this has to do with the changing moods and whims of the gods and goddesses from whom she derives these powers. Also, the powers of these gods and goddesses have been seen to be dependent on the worship of mortals, and thus as this worship ebbs and flows so too might Diana's might.

Even at her lowest ebb, Diana is a match for very nearly any foe.

Her weapons include bracelets forged from Zeus' Aegis, indestructible artifacts most famous for deflecting bullets and arrows and energy bolts with equal facility. Her Lasso of Truth burns with The Fires of Hestia, and its many remarkable abilities include the compulsion of Truth from those within its coils. Her tiara, generally regarded as a badge of office, can be improvised into a throwing weapon which is said to be capable of slicing through diamond.

Diana is an expert at myriad forms of martial combat, and at fighting barehanded.

She speaks many languages.

Biography:
Childless and brokenhearted, Queen Hippolyta of The Amazons shaped a baby girl out of clay and beseeched the gods to give her life. They did so, and gave her life more abundant, blessing her with vast and glorious abilities all wrapped around a heart of gold.

Now a grown woman, Diana, princess daughter of The Amazon Queen, strives to bring The Amazons' message to the darksome world outside her idyllic island upbringing, a complex code of peace and warfare and unapologetic love and righteous indignation. This is no easy task.

She has sought friendship and co-operation with the other heroes of this world, and of these she respects The Icon and The Detective most of all.

I actually take it as a huge compliment that you used this, because I wrote this bio myself.

Thankyew! ^_^

edited..

Bio edited for Goddess reference. and 2 images of Wonder woman added.

also added 1 for actress Jessica Biel. (Aka Diana Prince)

I'm a little confused.

We're playing it that The Justice Society has existed in our timeline?

I didn't think that metahumans were so mainstream historically in the "Smallville" mythos. Otherwise, people would hardly be so surprised and disbelieving about Meteor Freaks and such....

I'm actually a lot confused.

Don't get me wrong, the idea of Jay Garrick giving anybody a wedgie is music to my neurons.

But... what?

Yeah that kinda throw me as well. So i kinda ignored it and just went with some of the other stuff. There might have been a JSA, but it would have been more secretive I think. Not known to the public. Maybe after the Justice League is known to the world there will be a little confrontation with the JSA. But as for right now we shouldn't know they exist. Maybe Jessi and Bart do though.

Oh yeah just to let everyone know. The way I see it, the Metahuman registration bill isn't going to pass. But it does add some tension for now, to those that are or will be heroes.
