I made it thru my HF event ok but got soaked in the rain helping get supplies loaded and back into storage. Got home to a hot shower, a bowl of cereal and meds. Just woke up enough after 10 hours I'm really hungry now and need another set of meds... But I managed it!!!

Paul I usually do the cheap Cuban espresso dark as tar & cut with stevia & creamer for coffee con leche
Ralf it's been a while since I've heard from anyone there. My last Special Ops Col retired a year ago. He used to Skype me from there to surprise me when he was out of town.

I managed to get the 12 cases of water bought & loaded in the SUV along with everything but the ice & cooler for tomorrow's Honor Flight Welcome Home. No worries I didn't lift too much & then only with the good arm. Doc made me promise to wear the sling to get thru the event & I will have men in uniform with guns to help tomorrow. So they will also keep that asshat away from me who has been harassing me. Especially since he tried to shoulder check me hard after the last surgery.

Wish you were here too but for more fun reasons. I've learned how to just suck it up & deal with things myself. Cause lets face it even when I ask for help for me, I rarely get it. Now if it is for a veteran & family then people usually step up. It's just the way people are anymore. They hit me up for help but don't come thru when I need it.
I took my landlords son with me. We are both gimpi but I found a walmart employee to get down the cases from overhead for us. He loaded the truck & helped me get things ready for tomorrow. I just need to grab a couple 20 pound bags of ice on the way & then there will be guys at the airport who will help. I should be able to use the ice here from the garage. My new family are commercial fishermen at certain times of the year so they have a commercial ice machine.

Good morning 'ling and the rest of you Spacers. Its nice outside here with warm but pleasant Spring Time temps. Ling, as much as I like seasonal changes I don't know if I'd enjoy the depth of winter you deal with there.
