Morning all.
I made it thru hard day #1. Major acupuncture appointment with some major cupping done. Then worked 3 hours at the village's Night Out to meet our first responders. I dressed FD and mainly worked PD in the drizzling rain. I was wet but once I got home and hit some meds then laid down and hour I managed a hot shower and slept like a dead person for a change.

PT this morning and flag wave this afternoon. I'm just a little tight and waiting on my meds to kick in still. Thank God the weekend is clear just laundry.

Hello all your wonderful and amazing Spacelings!

Count me as among the folks who is glad it's Friday and is eagerly anticipating the weekend.

My summer so far has been pretty frenetic and I'm not out here as frequently as before, but I suspect things will settle out before too long.

Most of my chaos has been external (things happening around me, professional and personal) as opposed to internal (happening TO me). So the summer has just been splashing through the chaos!

Ok this has been a really weird day for me and weird is usually my normal. No re-taping at PT this morning cause I took some skin off getting the tape off for cupping Thursday. So she decided to let it heal for the weekend. I get home and I'm unloading the truck and this little odd looking snake with blob spots and as thick as my Pinkie... runs over my foot twice. It's not one I've ever seen before let alone over my toes so I gave my family guys a yell cause they were unloading a truck in the side yard next to me. Dad says it was a baby ground rattler. Long story short it ran for the flower bed and I'm going to look for some moth balls tomorrow so it stays away from my door and my truck.

Then I get a call from one of the local veterans I know whose looking for job help. He's really mainly bored but I made some calls and he's got an appointment with one of my team who helps with jobs. Because he was down in my area and so bored I took him with me to flag wave where he got to meet one of the guys who help me run things. They are both tech geeks so they had a great gab fest. It was OMG hot (feels like close to 100 & we were out in the breeze and shade for over 2 hours) and he refused to drink even water then argued about why he was dizzy getting up.

I finally made it into a 3rd shower and in bed with meds after too much in 2 days. I'm off this weekend except for laundry, groceries and changing out a flag at the cemetery entrance with the cemetery girls.
