Thanks to each and every one of you for your prayers of love and support for my little granddaughter. She made it fine through surgery. They told us that if she makes it through Thursday without complications, she will be out of danger.

A world renowned surgeon from France just so happens to be at that hospital in Denver and he did the surgery. He said that there were no complications during the operation, and the operation went smoothly. I was glad that I was there for the whole thing before I had to go home. I was hoping to see her before I left but they weren't quite ready for us when I HAD to leave for the airport.

My daughter called me about 10 pm last night and said that she was doing well so far and that she was waiting to go feed the little angel.

The morning of the surgery, she was not allowed to eat. You know you cannot explain that to a baby. She seemed to know that she wasn't able to and accepted it. We played with her in a children's play room until they got her into her surgical outfit. She didn't cry when the nurse took her away, she just stared at us until she was out of sight. The rest of the story you know.........

I am so sorry that I didn't come online last night when I got home. We hadn't gotten much sleep in the last few days and I just went to bed and slept 12 hours straight! I think the baby sensed things were going on. When she had all those tests the day before, she clung to her parents and I the night before, she didn't want to go to sleep, just wanted to be held.

The power of prayer is so incredible and it is because of all of you wonderful people that her chances were bettered. One can't begin to thank you enough!!!!

A very special thanks to MM for starting this thread    I love you!
