Good Morning Evabody

How was your Monday? Mine was great! I made so many new friends here on the LIT site. SO anxious to see what my Tuesday brings. :p

Hows the weather where you are? Its pretty here, sunshining 75 degrees and not a cloud in the sky. Think I might venture out onto the patio and sip some ice tea and work from there.

Anybody wanna stop by for some "refreshments" just let your self in and pull up a chair.

Awww thank you sweet doggy. <do you like the scratch between the ears?>

And yes you can sleep on my porch. Theres a nice big warm rug for the cool spring nights. You can bring your friends too. Nothing like having a bunch of animals around to keep you company.

What southern lady would not offer pie to everyone. Would you like tea or mild with your pie, Mayi?
Oh and watch out, twodogs and his friends are coming, so be careful about that rug over there.

Nothing like a sweet southern girl. Something about the way they speak... just sounds like honey dripping off their lips. :D

there is just something about a woman with a southern accent.....

It must go back to my first girlfriend...from South Carolina.....mmmm...what memories...

But i have been told...a woman with any accent does it for me....

Anybody else find that the Southern accent gets a lot stronger when drinking? Mine is usually pretty slight, just softening up the words a little, but if I've had even one glass of wine it starts to increase and I find myself using all sorts of expressions of my mother's or grandmother's that I haven't thought of in years.

Also, a strange question: what do you call the burners on the top of the stove? I was in college before I knew anybody called them burners. We always called them eyes (which is pretty creepy when you think about it). I've talked to a lot of Southerners and it seems to be a totally random assortment of people, scattered all over, who inherited this "eyes of the stove" quirk.
