Ya'll know what we mean and feel and don't pay much to our stupid ways, after all we are like a hound dog once you got our attention we will do what ever you want.
But some times you got to kick our butt to get our attention.
Yes we screw up a lot but you are always right there to get us straight, not like the north , hell they are running at a pace so messed up they have a hard time with there self to on track there is no room for us to screw up .
But in your world is so soft and slow you got all the time you want for you man .
It's as different as night and day when you cross the line south the smiles come on and the sugar out.
T he lord saved the best for last was perfected by the time he made it south .

Have to put my two cents in here, being bred, born and raised in the deep south of Georgia---not Atlanta, which is not truly southern anymore, but the gentle country of the deep south, Gone With the Wind style. Southern women know how to prioritize, and our men are always our first priority, loving them, understanding them, giving them room to play, knowing they will always return to us, for we are their home, their security, their comfort. We know the south never lost the war, not really, for anyone that moves south loses their yankee ways soon, and becomes assimilated into our life, slow and easy, taking time for each other, understanding that love is the most important emotion of life. Magnolia, doesn't every southern porch have a swing? You know, if the Yankees (and notice that i didn't say damnYankees although i did think that was one word until i was grown) sat on the porch and rocked in the swing a while, wouldn't they all be happier. so true, TwoDogs, and that will always keep us strong, the bond between our women and their men. For in the South, for a woman, it is her man first and foremost, then her children, followed by the remainder of her extended family. The family is the core. What more could any man ask for?

Ya'll got it you said exactly how it is , and once you lived south nowhere else is home again.
I get so home sick for it ,but i have to put up with this for now .
But ya'll know what since i found ya'll i'm home thank ya'll so much i get a tear in my eye but it's joy not sad.

my man is my priority...my life......so he makes mistakes....that does not mean i don't still love him.....just sometimes.....i wish he would think before he reacted..........

Boy as i sit here and read about ya'll lookin after the man i got a smile on cause i can feel the proud feeling you have for yourself that he is content and proud of you .
It's a two way street , but driving is so smooth when he knows he is wanted and cared for , he knows there is no better than you and on the other hand if there is he will never know cause when you got the best why even look , i would'nt .
Now i know there is some that don't have it like that ,bless there heart but i'm sure its out there for them .
As time has sliped by on me i still remember the sitting on the front porch bashful to hold her hand let alone kiss her , but oh my how things have changed .
To bad that was the fun and being in love , and god bless ya'll that still have it .

first and biggest lesson to being southern is to learn to just be mellow. Not so high strung or to up-tight that northerners seem to be. We aren't lazy we just like a slower pace to life is all.

So lesson #1 slow the pace a little bit. Learn to relax and enjoy life.

I live in NYC but was born and bred in Virginia. Why am I in NY? Because I'm artist that's why! I have to say that I consider all kind to women to have different favor.
