We're starting off in Zanzibar, then travelling through Tanzania ('wild' camping mostly) and finishing off a couple of days in Nairobi. It'll be a two week journey

I'm getting itchy feet since I haven't travelled since Easter last year, so will be desperate for some real adventure by the time it comes around! I was supposed to be going to South Korea this year, but a certain lil grandbaby stopped those plans

Very cool. Too hot and wild for me (that wasn't meant to sound erotic). Prefer more mod cons in life these days, although still like wilderness adventures, just with more comforts, like a comfy bed.

Haha, I have mod cons and comfort for the other 50 weeks of the year. I like the challenge of being out of my comfort zone, both physical and mentally. I actually don't like hot either, but it's a sacrifice I'll make.

Hi Tal, popping by, see you got the travel sorted, yay!! Sounds awesome, though I am with knowhow, I did the very rough camping stuff years ago - tents in north east Iceland with long drop toilets and stream water where it snowed in July - so it’s tine for at least a room with a basic shower these days! Are hot is too much too, the uk climate suits me for some reason!

Hope the week is ok, and the new arrival hangs on for its full term, enjoy!!

I'm jealous of your upcoming travels Tal. My wanderlust is kicking in... and it's getting hard to stay in one place. (The perils of being a gypsy girl as my Gran used to say)

Although today I'm absolutely staying in one place. I have declared it a PJ day here too and I plan on watching a lot of mindless tv and reading a book. I'm going to order delivery food and take a bath bomb bath (and then put on different PJs)
