Tattoos or piercings?

I'm new to this site (relatively speaking) and I work as a tattoo artist. I'm curious to find out what people have or prefer! I have too many to name, both piercings and tattoos.. Anyone else care to share what they have got/where/thinking of getting? Pictures are appreciated (",)

I currently have two tattoos on my bikini line and would like to get a memorial one for my parents. My roommate is trying to help me come up with a design.
Also have considered nipple piercings but I'm a weenie and scared it'll hurt. . Plus I'm not sure it would look good for me since I'm not "perky"

Sorry I can't post pics though. I keep my tattoos off lit.

I love some of the more modern tattoos with pastel inks...some of the floral freehand stuff looks beautiful. I need a cover up on my back tattoo so will be definitely looking into something like that at some point. my problem is that the older I get the less my tolerance to pain and it's been a while since I last had one.

piercings I'm not that keen on. intimate piercings tend to phase me a little, I'm never quite sure what to do with them when I encounter them...we're meeting someone with a tongue piercing tonight so I shall get to find out if they add anything to the mix as is the accepted wisdom...lol

Retired piercings: 4 piercings in each ear lobe, 2 piercings in the top cartilage of each ear, 00 gauge tongue piercing, 8 gauge center lip piercing, horizontal and vertical nipple piercings in each nipple

Current piercings: 12 gauge tragus piercings

Current tattoos: Sanskrit mantra - top of left ribs
6 red and yellow roses on a vine - starts under Sanskrit and continues to mid thigh on my left side

Future tattoos: two memorial pieces on my back, right side piece, full chest plate

I have one and have an appointment to get my 2nd on Saturday. I have plans for at least one more after that. And I also am considering a Daith piercing.

I have no tattoos, but three vaguely planned; left or right wrist, across my shoulder blades and over my sternum.

Piercings? Labret stud, nose ring on the left side and nipples. Planning on getting my VCH back, then my tongue done.

I've always said people prefer tattoo pain to piercing pain. It's more addictive and more, well, sensual I suppose, for something that can bloody hurt at times lol. I've had the outline of a geisha on my leg for years, think it's time I coloured her in. (Do my own tats)

Me too. I love the fact that people don't know what a geisha actually was/is... They think prostitute which wasn't the case.. I think that's why I put it on... Misunderstood

Flaming ace of spades with a skull in the middle (thigh right leg) geisha (left thigh) "dead men tell no tales" pirate themed lower left half sleeve, "Damaged" script writing, medusa, half Angel half devil skull, mean looking leprechaun (Irish), twin dragons to name a few

I have an angel. And a palm tree. I want a shoulder piece that will accent the angel, and something with a pirate theme. Maybe a pirate kicking a ninja's ass.

Had a nipple pierced, but that one is retired. Had an ear pierced too, when I was young, but I never could pull off the earring.

I'm down to 3 holes in my left ear & 2 in the right. I dislike piercing pain, lol. I toyed with the idea of getting my nipples done, but I'm a big pussy.

Tattoos are a different story. I have eight technically but visibly six. A small rose left ankle, an atom right forearm, and a Reaper Taz right upper arm. Those three are all 20+ years old. In the past three years I have gotten a triquetra with a Celtic dragon around it right ankle (healed terribly but I think k he looks like a weathered statue), a memorial of sorts is the one that covers two, it's an Asian style panther head - an updated version of one my Dad had done in Korea- left upper arm. My newest is a dot piece, a raven & skull, upper center back. Some think The Expendables but no, it's The Raven EAP.

My Mom hates them all. She picked my next one, a hummingbird. But I think two, one as a water color & one steampunk. I agreed to her choice, but they will be my way!
