~Texas Cantina~

To the ones that were concerned ...

I'm fine and so is the family. Thank you so much for your thoughts

:rose:

Are the fires pretty close?

The winds can change very quickly ya know.

Glad to hear you and your family are fine.

The ones yesterday were about 5 to 10 mins from me. It would have had to jump a major freeway to reach me. My brother and his family were closer and almost evacuated but they got it under control.

The ones in Bastrop which is about an hr from here are totally out of control. Over 500 homes have burned ...

It's terrible here. We need rain in the worst way.

Thanks for your concerns sweetie

*hugs*

Wow, makes me nervous for you now.

Fires do jump highways though. I've seen it happen in Florida. Plus everything's bigger in Texas. :)

LOL ... yea I realized what I said after I hit submit.

One a good note, it's actually a bit chilly out this morning ...

Niiiiiiiiiice

The fires aren't anywhere near Dallas are they? I've got a couple friends that live west of there. I tried calling them a few days ago and no answer. I hope they're on vacation or something.

I might have read something a while back but have not heard anything recently for the Dallas area.

I hope they are as well and that everything is fine.

I was shocked when I opened the door to let the dogs out this morning and I got this burst of cold air right up my shorts. I love the cool down but that was a bit uncomfortable...

Hugs!!!

Man, Texas and California had fires, East Coast had the hurricane. Why do I suddenly feel lucky? ;)
