I was out walking with my then 4 year old daughter. She picked up something
off the ground and started to put it in her mouth. I asked her not to do
that.

"Why?"

"Because it's been laying outside and is dirty and probably has germs."

At this point, she looked at me with total admiration and asked, "Wow! How
do you know all this stuff?"

"Uh," I was thinking quickly, " . . . everyone knows this stuff. Um, ...
it's on the Mommy test. You have to know it, or they don't let you be a
Mommy."

"Oh."

We walked along in silence for 2 or 3 minutes, but she was evidently
pondering this new information.

"I get it!" she beamed. "Then if you flunk, you have to be the Daddy."

I will pace myself.....I also have to start baking and making my fudge......It will take me alot of time to do it all....But I will do what I can and have to forget about the rest....That is all one can do.
You seem to have everything under control MaryBears.......pacing yourself can be a difficult task all on its own. I need to use your motto and not get myself so worked up over things that I can't control.

Had the x-ray today.........boy was I pissed. The test they said they were gonna do wasn't ordered..........I could have eaten until midnight. I was so hungry by the time I got to eat this morning.......which wasn't till 11 a.m. Then the doc never said anything about the x-ray.........he said that I still have blood in the urine so I have to go back in 2 months to have another urine test. But I have been symptom free since the surgery and I am very thankful for that.

Hope everyone had a great Tuesday.........and an even better HUMP day tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!

Hugs............Puddin

Hmm...naked radiologist. I'd love to hear how you handle a trip to the gyne ;)

Hi puddin :D You're fortunate to have some great kids...wishing you all the best ;)
Hello Joey.........don't think that we have been introduced. I am Puddin from Wisconsin. I have seen your postings here before and should have said hello before now, so please forgive me, I wasn't trying to be rude.

Going to the gyno is definately not a turn on for me. I absolutley dread that time of year. Don't think I have ever met a woman that likes that trip.

Thanks for your kind words about my kids and your well wishes. Hope to see more of you here at the Den.

Hugs to all..........Puddin

(((((((((Pudding))))))))))) :rose:

Hun I have not always been this way.....I have learned so much since I became disabled......I use to push myself until I would damn near fall flat on my face.....BUT i came to realize that your body will eventually collaspe and you will not have anything to prove it.....I use to work my ass off at Wal-Mart.....and when I got sick do you think they was there for me....HELL NO.....they terminated me....said full duty or no duty.....So what did I get for the hard work......NOTHING.....so I think about my body now....and to hell with what others think about me not doing everything......So now my motto is I do what I can when I can and that is it....:)

Awww I hate when the drs office don't do what they are suppose to do.....I have been there done that....:( Good luck and your still in my thoughts and prayers.....take care and keep a watch out for signs and syptoms of more stones....:)

Good to hear that you had a wonderful evening. Shopping can be so much fun. Did a little of my own today. A friends mother gives me money every year to get what I want.......so I got a warm fuzzy blanket throw that has a beautiful kitty on it and a flannel nightgown with kittys all over them. Now I will stay real warm. Who needs a man when I have a nice warm blankey, warm pj's and my toys!!!!!!!!!!!!!

From Santa Claus

I regret to inform you that, effective immediately, I will no longer serve the States of Georgia, Florida, Virginia, North and South Carolina, Tennessee, Mississippi, Texas, and Arkansas and West Virginia on Christmas Eve.
Due to the overwhelming current population of the earth, my contract was renegotiated by North American Fairies and Elves Local 209. As part of the new and better contract I also get longer breaks for milk and cookies so keep that in mind.

However, I'm certain that your children will be in good hands with your local replacement, who happens to be my third cousin, Bubba Claus. His side of the family is from the South Pole. He shares my goal of delivering toys to all the good boys and girls; However, there are a few differences between us.

Differences such as:

1. There is no danger of the Grinch stealing your presents from Bubba Claus. He has a gun rack on his sleigh and a bumper sticker that reads: "These toys insured by Smith and Wesson."

2. Instead of milk and cookies, Bubba Claus prefers that children leave an RC Cola and pork rinds [or a moon pie] on the fireplace And Bubba doesn't smoke a pipe. He dips a little snuff though, so please have an empty spit can handy.

3. Bubba Claus' sleigh is pulled by floppy-eared, flyin' coon dogs instead of reindeer. I made the mistake of loaning him a couple of my reindeer one time, and Blitzen's head now overlooks Bubba's fireplace.

4. You won't hear "On Comet, on Cupid, on Donner and Blitzen." when Bubba Claus arrives. Instead, you'll hear, "On Earnhardt, on Andretti, on Elliott and Petty."

5. "Ho, Ho, Ho!" has been replaced by "Yee Haw!" And you also are likely to hear Bubba's elves respond, "I her'd dat!"

6. As required by Southern highway laws, Bubba Claus' sleigh does have a Yosemite Sam safety triangle on the back with the words "Back Off."

7. The usual Christmas movie classics such as "Miracle on 34th Street" and "It's a Wonderful Life" will not be shown in your negotiated viewing area. Instead, you'll see "Boss Hogg Saves Christmas" and "Smokey and the Bandit IV" featuring Burt Reynolds as Bubba Claus and dozens of state patrol cars crashing into each other. And Finally,

8. Bubba Claus doesn't wear a belt. If I were you, I'd make sure you, the wife, and the kids turn the other way when he bends over to put presents under the tree.

Sincerely Yours, Santa Claus
