Question: Are you where you thought you'd be at this stage in life?
That depends. When I was young (20 something) I didn't look this far. I just lived life and had fun. Worked so I could do that.
But from the day I became a parent I'd say yes. I'm exactly were I thought I should be.
Are you in the career you wanted to be in?
I wouldn't call it a career. I've worked at the same place for 40 years but in different positions.
But I like it were I am now.

No. I'm behind. First year of college was the pandemic, so only online classes that year. Second year wasn't good for a lot of reasons, and I almost dropped out; I didn't obviously, but I am about a yr behind where I should be, but it's good, I'm happy mostly.

For the most part I am. I wanted to be retired from nursing by the age of 40 and I did it at 38. Got involved with RE and that’s working well for me now.

I was engaged at 18 but never really wanted to get married and have kids. We broke up, he went to California, met someone, had kids and is happy and I’m happy for him.

Those that know me here know that I’ve dealt with almost being murdered to losing friends way too young.

I’m happy and that’s the most important thing, to me anyway.

Question (See what happens when I finally sleep?) What is ONE thing about you that most people don't know about you? It can be quirky, scandalous, boring (to you), whatever!

Edit: LIT doesn't count! :ROFLMAO:

I really can’t think of anything besides the people in my IRL not knowing about Lit! I’m either boring or talk about myself too much 🤣

Um

I can wiggle my ears, together and independent of each other.

I'm keeping the juicy stuff to myself.

I can wiggle my right ear (only), but I tell everyone about that!

Mostly happy is huge! And don’t worry about college - it took me 8 years to graduate! No such thing as being behind, everyone goes at their own pace.

Chica, You're killing it! I had 2 babies during college, worked part time, and had a hubby? Why? Because I loved the fucking animal and wanted to give him babies. LOL But he supported me and my family did as well. You got this!

Key word. Hold on to that. Don't compromise your happiness and your ideals and you'll be in a great place.
