The Cozy Corner

They serve it with thai basil, beansprouts, jalapeno, lime, & siracha. It's one of my comfort meals.

But today... I got the bill and realized I forgot my credit card. When I checked google wallet, the card wasn't connected to my account... It was a stressful 10 minutes before I finally got it connected and paid for. 🤣
Jalapeño is new to me but not unheard of. I always ask for extra thai basil. It's excellent refuel after a big bouldering session or long run.

Are you me? Recently my card disconnected from my Google account for some inexplicable reason. I called my bank and apparently they had issued me a new card due to fraud detection being too vigilant... Good thing I had back up methods of payment. It's always a big scare. 😅

Speaking of durian, I learned from my Indonesian friend that Malaysian durians taste very different to Thai durians. With distinct flavour profiles. Apparently Thai durians are milder and sweeter and floral but Malaysian durians are creamier and more savoury... It was fascinating.

Does 'bleu cheese' mean Stilton flavoured?
If so, does blue cheese taste different in the US?
@LaisDeMarieDeFrance help!!!
The blue cheese we have here is Bavarian Blue, a Danish version called Danablue and some local. And they are all milder than Stilton. Same taste just a bit milder.

I can't say anything about the US blue cheese.

Thanks @Cogan 😍
There are some things I put in my mouth happily. There are some reluctantly.
But hell will freeze over before I eat Stilton 😂
